I just read an article about Planned Paretnhood sending out "Choice on Earth" cards at Christmas. Is it me or does this contradict Christmas and what it's about completely? Wanted to post the article, but my hubby did something to the computer and I can't get the address. I found it on Fox News' website.

The whole idea of this just repulses me. To send out a "Christmas" card that promotes the idea of abortion? All on a holiday celebrating a birth. It's just plain stupid!!!!

To say the least. They have been doing this for 8 years. I saw the leader of N.O.W. on O 'Reilly last year, and he argued with her that it's wrong. Her reply was that Jesus believed in choice. :smoke:

A 13-year old girl, and she shows up pregnant but swears her brand-new husband is not the father? She swears it was an angel acting for God himself? Ok, obviously the girl was raped and the victim of incest and is making up stories about religious wonder in order to cover up her shame and fear. The couple has no money, no place to live...and has to travel across the country sleeping in cheap hotels and barns in order to make it???

In todays world the "pro-choice" crowd would have aborted Jesus faster than you can say "Immaculate Conception."

I don't doubt it. SOme of them them to want to advocate it as if it's no big deal,or nt a decision that you have to think about and live with the rest of your life. The whole idea of this "Christmas" card is just sick and offensive to most Americans IMO.

In order for a sacrelige to happen there must be religion first, in these people's minds there is no Jesus, only in the sense that if they use his name enough they may convert more to their sick cause.............These groups collectively make more money on abortions than almost any other lobby groups, therefore they have more money to give liberal politicians to get elected with, who are going to do whatever Now and NARAL want........

um, are you surprised? These are the same people who brought you t-shirts emblazoned with the words, "I HAD AN ABORTION." They are not neccesarily interested in respecting anyones thoughts, feelings, or opinions but their own...it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that they would use a holiday based upon a young woman having a baby many would consider "unwanted" and "inconvinient" and turning it into an opportunity to advertise their political beliefs.

"Choice" my ass. Planned Parenthood is the dumbest bunch of douche-wits on the planet. :firing:

I once had a dream that the U.S. became a theocracy and they had to pass legislation allowing legislation for rape victims and also people who were immaculately impregnated, because that happens every once in a millenium.

Which begs the question, could a present-day Mary be allowed to abort the second-coming? I think this needs to be addressed.

Well, someday when you are a sick old man in the hospital and you want some medical attention but they ignore you and they eventually "put you to sleep" instead because it is a medical CHOICE due to the "greater need" of many others more "deserving" of their attention in the new sick liberal world...you will probably wake up from your dream and "get religion" real quick.

Birth or death- life or death (it's always death) - the great new CHOICE of the new liberal world.

Euthanization would be fine so long as it was a choice, the fear is if Government gets control of the financing of Medical Care it may not be so much of a choice, at least not a personal choice.

There is a proposal in England to have those that are very ill to voluntarily kill themselves to save the medical community the expense of care and save it for others...........I can't even fathom how one life is considered more important than another. But this is the result of socialism and we here in the U.S are not far off!
Anyone see the movie "Soylent Green"?

The Second Coming will have no birth involved.

I'm for pro-choice; as long it'd be extended to cover ANY time of life...I mean, a mother can kill her child a few weeks before birth, let's allow them the 'choice' to kill the child years after birth. We are nausiated at the constant bullshit arguments of the "left" such as "Well, what if the child were born into poverty? Or born as the result of rape?" I say, we approach this issue just as society approaches marriage. Use the 'Try it for a few years, see if it works out, before you commit'.

What's really sad is a life is now only worth whether it's wanted by a mother!!
