I had that on VHS when I was a kid. My father bought it for me at the Golden Dreidel in Costa Mesa, CA (which has since relocated to Irvine I think). An all-time classic, IMO.

Semi off-topic: There's nothing like Kosher Chinese food. Or Halal Chinese food. There's a place in Tustin, CA called "Jamillah Garden" that is fantastic.

missed the last part of the post... good kosher chinese? really?!?!?! wow.. we used to have a place nearby called Shang Chai. Don't recall ever going there, though.

I've never been to L.A. Been to San Francisco, though.

But we have some pretty heavy duty neighborhoods like that here, too! What I love is that there's this one neighborhood not too far from me where you find kosher right next door to halal... really interesting.
