Guess the right wing mulsims don't see the Chinese as a threat to their culture and religion. Could it be that the primary reason these folks hate Americans is our support for Israel?

The US needs a “Manhattan Project” sized attempt to invent our way out of oil-demand based international politics. We need to stop transferring out national wealth to OPEC. A coalition of industry and government must invent and promote the technologies that can replace oil consuming transportation and electrical generation machinery. Who else has the capital or incentive? A bit more oil drilling and production from Alaska is hardly the solution. We need to vastly accelerate transportation and electrical generation toward hydrogen, coal, and nuclear energy. America has these forms of energy in abundance. A coalition of industry and government needs to make the financial investment necessary to develop the technologies that will reduce the cost of non-oil energy. We need to do this yesterday.
