Accused of negligence in his treatment of patients, the chief of surgery at two Orange County hospitals has been disciplined by the state Medical Board for the third time since 2002, but will keep his license.

The medical board had tried to revoke Dr. Ali Fouladi’s license, but the physician – who is chairman of surgery at Garden Grove Hospital and Chapman Medical Center – successfully appealed to an administrative law judge.

Last month, judge Beth Faber Jacobs ordered that Fouladi instead be placed on probation for four years, starting May 1. She said he needed more training and oversight.

No worries. You'll be adequately protected.

"In February 2002 at Garden Grove Hospital, Fouladi performed hernia surgery on the right side of a patient, when the procedure was supposed to be on the left."

Total quack. That judge is a moron.
