Chicago...WTF?

Chicago has a major drug problem with South American drug lords using it as their main distribution center. It is akin to being Mafia central for the US. That is why there are so many deaths and there is so much gang activity: the South American drug cartels using Chicago as the main distribution center for the whole country.

Chapo Guzman, Vasquez-Hernandez and nine other people were accused in 2009 of operating a billion-dollar, transnational, illicit drug business with Chicago as its main American distribution hub

Chicago is not in the top 20 cities in US murder rate

Really? That's surprising.

According to this, it is number 7:
The top 20 U.S. cities for murder rates are: 1. Flint, MI 2. Baltimore, MD 3. St. Louis, MO 4. Detroit, MI 5. Youngstown, OH 6. Cleveland, OH 7. Chicago, IL 8. Washington DC 9. Camden, NJ 10. New York City, NY 11. San Antonio, TX 12. Philadelphia, PA 13. Newark, NJ 14. Milwaukee, WI 15. New Orleans, LA 16. Columbus, OH 17. Saginaw, MI 18. Gary, IN 19. Memphis, TX 20. Phoenix, AZ

Still, it's not the worst, though the RWs on here present the issue as if it were.

The issue is Chicago City hall looks the other way. As long as the shit stays in the ghettos, none of those libs give a rat's ass.

The city of Chicago registered more homicides than any city in the nation in 2012, surpassing even New York — despite the fact that the Second City has only one third as many residents as the Big Apple.

In new crime statistics released Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported 500 murders in Chicago in 2012, up sharply from the 431 recorded in 2011. New York reported 419 murders last year, compared with 515 in 2011.

But residents of Chicago and New York were much less likely to be victims of a homicide than residents of Flint, Mich. Sixty-three murders occurred in 2012 in Flint, a city of 101,632, meaning one in every 1,613 city residents were homicide victims. Detroit, which experienced 386 homicides in 2012, was almost as unsafe; that’s enough murders to account for one in every 1,832 residents.

^^^This is from your article. You need to read your own article. Chicago may have more murders by overall number than NY, but statistically, they are not number 1 in the country by population.

Population and statistics are unimportant when you loons want to ban firearms. Less then a fraction of a percent are killed by firearms a year yet you would demand we ban all firearms.

Go ahead do the math. I will even give you all the justified homicides and suicides. So tell us what the percent is of 32000 in a population of 320 million?
