"Change", We Should Not Have Believed In..

He's not even eight months into his term, again, are you going to judge things not even 1/4 done? We haven't gotten a terrorist attack and he hasn't surrendered this country to the terrorists as many of those on the right (maybe you included) said he would. Obama has gotten a good amount of his promises done so far considering the economical climate.

By the way, McCain/Palin may of had been able to deliver one tree but they would of ended up burning down the forest. :eusa_eh:

eight months in and spent more than any other human on the planet in all of history

he's like that energizer bunny innhe? still going!

He has only just began.

Does a new healthcare plan rings a bell? :eusa_eh:

and going and going...lol yep.

McCain and Palin lost the election, because Obama made promises that he did and could not keep. His soaring rhetoric got him elected. Definitely, not his ability to govern.

At least McCain would have been honest and not promised the farm, when all he could have delivered was one tree.

Therefore, during this past election, I ended up putting my money on the honest guy.

How are you getting eight months? He was sworn in on Jan. 20 and today is July 20. That's six months.

So it's six months in and spent more than any other human on the planet in all of history.

"Well lets see, was Carter a Republican? Maybe that's why I said 1980 and Republican in the same sentence. Since 1980, for only 8 years (excellent economic years by the way) did we have a Democratic President who wasn't even that Liberal."

Carter was a liberal democrat who trashed this country economically, 21% interest rates, high unemployment, he was a one term only President. In the 80's we had a conservative REPUBLICAN President, Ronald Reagan. That's why the outstanding growth in the economy.

Carter will go to 2nd place as the WORST president in history with Obama taking over 1st place.

:eusa_eh:

Why you're wrong:

Reagan raised taxes 6 out of 8 years in office. 4 times between 1982-1984 alone.

He expanded government. (Creating the VA Cabinet Level)

He saved Social Security.

He allowed a bailout to Chrysler to continue.

He had a Czar or two. The federal payroll under Reagan rose by 61,000 jobs and fell 373,000 under Clinton.

The Historic Tax Reform Act of 1986 raised Corporate taxes by $120 billion over five years and closed corporate tax loopholes worth about $300 billion over the same amount of time.

EITC

Under Reagan, America's stance towards the Soviet Union (Communists ) softened.

In just about every other way, Reagan was highly Conservative but to call Reagan a Conservative Fiscally is a joke.

Yep...

And the "Free Press" continues to Blame that Economy on Reagan, when he was Handed the Shit Pile and Turned it around...

:)

peace...

I could be wrong but wasn't most of the reduction done in the Defense Dept.? Which I believe led to a lot of terrorist attacks on the US in the 1990's. Just sayin...

If this offends you, it is not intended to. But I think you may have "racism" confused with "stereotyping."

I've posted this before, but racism is when you hate an entire race of people no matter what.

I'm not the least bit offended. I figure anything I post on a message board is subject to challenge, and if I don't think I can defend it, I jolly well better not post it. :eusa_angel:

I agree that 'hating an entire race of people no matter what' is one definition of racism. But I don't think 'hate' is always a component. I also think it is racism when any racist/ethnic group is considered inferior or less capable or less able or more prone to do something. Some of the most racist people in the country are those who presume that a certain group has to have 'Whitey's' help or government help or some advocacy group's help because they are otherwise incapable of solving their problems.

The term 'wetback', however, is not in itself racist any more than Mexican National or "illegal" or 'transient worker' is racist. It is not any more racist than designating a certain group as Irish immigrants or Italian Mafia or Chinese cooks. People are what they are and it isn't racist to observe what they are. "Wetback", like many other words, has become a perjorative term in many/most circles, but when it is used simply to describe a certain group of people and has no other connotation than that, it is not racist.

To say that President Obama wants to help lazy black people is in itself not a racist statement if it is true or believed to be true. It would be racist to assume that the President would want that because he was black or to assume that all black people are lazy.

Stereotyping I think is something entirely different any of this.

At least that's the way I look at it.

I'll agree to disagree on this one. We could go round and round about this...lol. It's just a basic differnece in opinion on the meaning and practice of racism.:eusa_angel:

What the people should have believed was that Barack Hussien Obama is a Marxist. He has been one for some time and will remain so.

Trouble is, many of those that voted for the Marxist don't even know what Marxism stands for.

If he gets his socialized medicine plan passed, there will NEVER be a return to the system we have now. We will join the ranks of other countries where such systems have failed.

There were some people who saw that Obama was dripping with Marxism, before the election. Only "Joe the Plumber", had the guts to call him out on it. After that, the Obama camp had him investigated, right down to his underwear.

Now he has become President, he has started to enact his Marxism, via his healthcare plan and taxing the rich an exorbitant tax amount, in order to feed his Socialistic views.

To bad that so many people got duped, into voting for this Marxist.
