I think this rule should be revisited because its being used as a shield by Lucy for instance. Look at the post she made that I quoted above. Its Sophomoric at best YET she can't be called out, in the proper tone (FZ) for it.

How do you "request" not being called out? Is it a formal announcement or through a mod or what?

You would make a thread about it in the Flame Zone, saying you do not want to be called into that area for any reason by any member. If someone calls you there afterwards, you need to report it along with the link to your thread or post stating you are not to be alerted. Some have done this in threads where they have been repeatedly alerted, which is a form of harassment.
