What a great day to be a southerner as we celebrate a great man in the name of Robert E. Lee. Today tens of millions of Americans are showing their southern pride and patriotism across America. Robert E. Lee was a true gentleman who loved his heritage as he fought for states rights.

Why are are you flying a flag that was not used until after the Civil War was over?

The topic is not focused primarily on the civil war but Robert E. Lee and southern pride and heritage. The flag meets the criteria.

Not sure the OP knows what "patriotism" means.

Lee fought for the wrong side.

And lost.

The war lasted so long because of the incompetence of Lincoln's generals. But the rebs still got their ass handed to them. Their economy destroyed. Then, like a bunch of dirty animals, they crawled back home and took it out on freemen.

The level of sin and inhumanity in the South AFTER the war was unprecedented. It was an American holocaust perpetrated by the losing side of the civil war-- mainly the lower class whites who felt so ashamed at having lost everything, they took it out on the blacks.

Why is it aways the South? What is it about people down there that turns them into uncivilized backwards animals whenever they feel threatened by people with darker skin tone?

They are as pious as they are deranged and violent.

Anybody from the South want to comment?

And to be proud of it, waving the rebel flag like a lunatic racist… Shameful.

$only confederate flag that mattered.jpg

Gen. Robert E. Lee exemplified the best of southern gentility and tradition.

He was a strong defender of the principles and intent of the U.S. Constitution.

And will go down in history as one of the greatest generals our country ever produced. ....

Bullshit. It's not about southerners feeling threatened. It's about a type of people called negroes who aren't rational who go on massive crime sprees committing murders, rapes and robberies. Whites must always be aware when around them so they can protect themselves from possible attacks.

Lee's strategy lost the South their bid for independence. He should have taken a lesson from Gen. Washington who knew that his greatest challenge was not victory on the battlefield but in maintaining a fighting force that would eventually wear down the will of the North to continue to fight. Instead he was responsible for death and dishonor.

Yeah. All of history's greatest generals betray their country, and then lose. :cuckoo:

He lacked the resources to do so and knew it...his best hope (and he came VERY close to pulling it off) was to win the PR fight and cause Lincoln and/or the Republicans to get booted in the 1862 or 1864 elections.
