I think that's an exaggeration. Some of his remarks were ambiguous enough to be interpreted that way if you wanted to, but I think those remarks were just for internal consumption. So far, imo, whatever his personal feelings may be, he seems level headed and moderate. Perhaps this is just because he needs so much international aid, but so what? If that keeps the peace, it's a good thing.
