CBS Documents: ATF used "Fast and Furious" to make the case for gun regulations

Well, well, well the worm has turned for those folks who said jokeingly has obama taken your guns yet. He did try. and don't say that's not obama he's the president and it's all his now.

Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.

In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Holder says He and obama would like to reinstate the assault weapons ban to help gun violence in Mexico. Well isn't that special maybe they should take assault weapons out of the hand of the government and place them back in the hands of responsible people like the law abiding citizen.

Liberals, in general, hate the thought of law abiding citizens having the right to freely posess firearms.

To that end, they will do any and every thing they can to exaggerate, if not directly create, conditions that allow them to make some semblance of an argument that will support the limitation of the right of law-abiding citizens to do exactly that.

The fact that they are forced to supply weapons to Mexican drug cartels in the hopes of increasing crime in Mexico to the point where they can then suggest that the rights of Americans must be limited in an effort reduce said crime illustrates just how fracking insane these people really are.
