Actually, what "wisdom"? They have given us an awful system that caused a Civil War 80 years later, lets people become president after the majority rejects them, and makes it very difficult to pass laws that are popular by giving representation to big empty rectangles.

Did the Constitution seem like a good idea in 1787? I guess. So did bleeding people to treat diseases, taking mercury to cure syphilis, shitting in a chamber pot and owning slaves.

No, the slave owners, who would later become the democrat party, created a system in the states they controlled that created the slavery problem.......a problem the democrat party decided to keep by taking the entire country into Civil War.....

They gave us a system that limits government power, which means we have more freedom....we have a system where each state decides who they want to be President vs. a few powerful states controlling everything......

You want centralized power ..... you want to be able to force your beliefs onto other people, at the point of a gun......you are the individual the Founders were afraid of....
