So when the conversation comes around to the cover up, it needs to be very specific what was covered up? The predators? Or the Homosexual dalliances?

I don't think so. The predators are in jail. The cover up was mostly the affairs and was done by the parish and diocese.

And you think this organization is somehow different than other organizations comprised of imperfect men and women who are never free of pride, self-interest, envy, vanity, and dozens of other defects?

How about we strive for transparency in all organizations and hierarchies?

Catholics tend to be nitpicked.

Even though Catholic Priests aren't much more, or less likely to be Pedophiles vs many other demographics.

Also note that even though Catholics were ruthlessly murdered by Nazis & the Vatican saved Jews.

Theres a larger push to blame Catholics than a German Protestant Lutheran population which made up the majority of Nazi Gernany.

The Pope looks like a drunk elf, that can't be helping the church's image.
