I know you squish ones and the Israel does everything bad ones will say Cast Lead was un just assault. There are plenty of threads on that one.

In these thread is about the undeniability of Cast Lead success. Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist fractions were firing dozens upon dozens of daily missile attacks at Israel. Israel tried to stop the attacks without a full scale invasion. Targeted killing? Nope missile came. Blockade? Nope. Just Israeli invaded to stop the missile attacks! That was the objective.

Guess what, it worked! There been only a handful of missiles fired and none have come close to the target. Hamas has even called on all other terrorist organizations to stop firing missiles or face retributions.

Say what you want, but Cast Lead was a success!:eusa_angel:

If you believe that counting rockets is a measure of success, you have a very narrow view of the conflict.

Hamas was severely weakened and afraid. The missile attacks stopped, which all other means used over the last 2 years did nothing. These were the 2 stated reasons, with stopping the missile attacks as the main one. So yes douche bag, its a value measure of success.

Quick Question: where does a skin-head redneck with no education like yourself think he has the upper authority on anyone on any subject?

Of course, it doesn't hurt that Egypt for some reason is closing off the tunnels on its side of the fence. I wonder what caused that?

What is even more amazing is that Egypt stopped a 'humanitarian" convoy this winter and sent several of the leaders back home Persona non grata, including a member of the UK parliament.

First, nothing of what Egypt did has stopped the missile attacks. Only Cast Lead did.
Second, Egypt is doing its part to take down Hamas who REFUSES peace. Israel recently has been stand-offish, but during the Camp David and Oslo accords, 98% of the West Bank (initially 95%), EAST JERUSALEM and Gaza was offered to the Palestinians. Ara-corrupt-fat, arrogantly and foolishly turned the offer down. Recently it has been revealed that Olmert did put Jerusalem on the table in his discussion with Abbas. For its part Fatah and the PLO have at least tried somewhat to be a mutual peace partner.

However, HAMAS has not and will not. They refused any direct negotiations and have always held true to their written bylaws. We will not rest until Israel is destroyed.

Egypt release peace and stability is better than anything else. After all Muslims at victims of Islamofacist terror 1000 fold more than non-muslims are. They recognize this and know Hamas is the true obstacle to peace!

Nevertheless I digress. Cast Lead hit its objectives, which all the leftist screamed during the campaign that this was a useless slaughter. That the missile and terrorist attacks will intensify. The leftist were wrong again. The missile attacks have been virtually non-existent and Hamas is running scared.

The US has been giving Egypt $2B a year since 1979 to side with Israel at the displeasure of its own citizens who support Palestine.

OK! :cuckoo: You redneck scumbag! Egypt supports the Palestinians so much why didn't they grant them a state when they controlled the land (along with Jordan) from '48-'67! What you have no answer!

If Egypt was such a swell partner to the Palestinians why didn't they turn over the country to the Palestinians when they controlled All of Israel and Palestinian after defeating the Turks for a period of 10 years 1831-1841. Possible Reasons:
(1) Palestinians didn't see themselves separate from Arabs until they could use it as justification to form a state. Before the British Mandates calling an Arab Muslim a Palestinian was fighting words (they considered Palestinians as only Jews)!
(2) The lands were so sparsely populated it would have been foolish for Egypt to hand over lands to such a tiny population.
(3) The Egyptians, like the majority of Arabs and Persians, don't give a damn about the Palestinians (most didn't bat an eye when the Jordanians killed 20,000 Palestinians in one month during Black September or when Kuwait expelled the Palestinians). Rather they use the Palestinians as pawns in a deadly game against Israel and the Christian West.

My guess its a combo of all three!

Egyptians view the Pallies as excrement, like all Arabs do.

Not so. The majority of Egyptians support Palestine.

Not so. The majority of Egyptians support Palestine.

The wall Egypt is building at the Gaza border designed to keep Pallies out would tend to undermine your erroneous statement.

As would the fact that Egypt occupied Gaza for 20 years, denying Pallies independence and treating them like dogs.

The wall is being built by the government. Egypt is paid $2B a year to side with Israel at the displeasure of the majority of it citizens.

D'oh. And, I thought the wall is being built by Egyptians.

Egypt is paid $2B a year to side with Israel at the displeasure of the majority of it citizens.

And, to the pleasure of the majority of Americans, who favor Israel over the camel-herding terrorists.

It is interesting to watch that majority of US citizens fade as more truth gets out.

Except, you're wrong, as always. American support for Israel has remained constant.

You know nothing of the subject matter, so, why even bother posting?

The support for Israel is the result of propaganda. The truth, however is getting out.

Wrong, again. It's a trend with you.

The support for Israel among Americans is based on shared values, Israel's embrace of democratic principles, freedom, human rights and civil liberties.

Americans remember the Pallie scum celebrating 9/11...

Ah, the old 1993 stock footage of the Palestinians celebrating the signing of Oslo.
