There are tens of thousands of homicides in the USA every year - what makes this one so special?

5 wars, massive gov't debt, Dick Tater Prez and what gets reported on?

Casey Anthony. Uh, why?

Tens of thousands? Stats from 2008 were 17,034...... that's hardly 'tens of thousands', it's not even 2 'tens of thousands'. Hysterical gibberish does not help you to be taken seriously.

underreported -laughable figure

And yet, it is the actual official figure.... no hysteria, no bullshit, just statistics. Go figure.

Still doesn't answer why this case stands out among the thousands of homicides each year in the USA.

There is lots of stuff going on.

Back during the OJ trial - there wasn't that much else going on.

IMO, the big fuss is that so many young parents are abusing and killing their children. So, much so that the government wants to send a strong message to them. If you don't want your children there are other ways to dispose of them besides killing them.

So many young parents are Bad Parents because they had bad parents who replace love with money and didn't provide parental supervision. These kids today have no morals and little remorse for wrong doings.
