Carbon Dioxide Levels Jump by Record Amount Due to El Nino

Carbon Dioxide Levels Jump by Record Amount Due to El Nino
Extract: "The amount of heat-trapping carbon dioxide in the air jumped by the biggest amount on record last month, a rise amplified by El Nino, scientists say.
Carbon dioxide levels increased by 4.16 parts per million in April compared to a year earlier, according to readings at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii. Until this year, the biggest increase was 3.7 ppm. Records go back to 1950."

Utterly amazing...Maybe we'll get to 500 parts per million before long. Maybe even within my life?

Mother Nature, she's out to git ya!

At least we now know, that much of the CO2 created is from nature, and the rest comes from the manufacture of Solar Panels and Wind Turbines by Heavy Industry in China.

Man trying to control the levels of CO2 by manufacturing more Wind Turbines, we must destroy the World to save the World?

Global and China Wind Turbine Blade Industry Report, 2015-2017

Wind turbine blade, one of key parts of wind turbine, accounts for about 22% of total costs. Blade materials make up more than 90% of manufacturing costs of blade. Wind turbine blade materials now include mainly glass fiber reinforced polyester resin, glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin, and carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin, with the middle one finding the widest applications. As blade materials become ultra-large and lightweight, carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin will be vigorously developed and used in the future.......................

............At present, most of major large wind turbine manufacturers in the world produce blades by themselves, like Siemens, Vestas, and Gamesa. The world's largest independent wind turbine blade manufacturer is LM Wind Power, whose blades are installed in 1/3 of global wind turbines. By the end of 2014, LM Wind Power had set up 13 wind turbine blade production bases around the globe, of which 3 factories were located in China, separately inTianjin, Qinhuangdao, and Jiangyin............

.........Sinoma Science & Technology: The company specializes in composite wind turbine blade, high-pressure composite cylinder, and membrane materials. Wind turbine blade business is operated by Sinomatech Wind Power Blade, which now has eight production bases (Kangzhuang and Badaling in Beijing, Jiuquan, Baicheng, Dali, Funing, Xilin, and Pingxiang). Pingxiang base produced its first set of blade in January 2015, and will be capable of manufacturing 400 sets of 2.0MW-3.0MW low-wind-speed large wind turbine blades annually after reaching designed capacity.

But, given the cost and dangers of nukes, we will continue to build renewables, and you, Ms. Elektra, will continue to mewl and puke, and be ignored by people of intellect. Both solar and wind are beating nuclear and fossil fuels on the economics of generation.

Renewables are kicking fossil fuels ass. To think this isn't being installed by the private sector and too think that the cost of renewables isn't going to go down as it has for the past 50 years...Is a serious mistake. Republicans better get on the renewable train!

And the 80% increase in volcanic activity on the earth has nothing to do with it... :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Breathless Mathew...... failing to check the facts... Then blaming it on man.. What an Idiot!
Co2 levels were pretty much steady until the industrial revolution going back about 4,000 years at around 270-280 ppm(based on the ice cores from greenland and Antarctica). Explain to me how a fairly quit period in volcanic activity can cause a 120-125ppm increase in co2 levels over natural levels happening at the same time as our co2 output? Plus, consider that fissure volcanic activity is hardly happening at all and that produces most of the co2 output from volcano's in earth's history.

Also consider the reality that human produced co2 and natural co2 has a different chemical structure and we can measure the difference.

Want to see OR shut the fuck up?

How much of an increase in temperature is directly cause by an 8ppm increase in CO2? What does your lab work show?

What does yours show? Do you have lab work that casts any doubt on the TCS or ECS developed either from instrumented data or model work?
