We, the people, need a government to keep corporations in check - a protection of the average citizens - or they would crush us in their chase for the almighty dollar (this is why $$$ as speech will be the death-knell for this country if it is not reformed - our democracy is OVER). What is really bad is that we now have a bought and paid government colluding with industry in this endeavor and it is DESTROYING this country - do you know what a plutocracy is? A system based solely on the pursuit of greed and lucre does and will destroy a society every time. I'll let you do your own research on these "societies" that have collapsed from toxic capitalism, otherwise, I am done. Capitalism and love do NOT belong in the same sentence, as someone said above.

Under capitalism you don't get a penny until you first produce or give something that other people want to buy more than anything else in the world. In short, capitalism is based on and teaches giving.
Liberalism or socialism is based not on giving but rather on receiving an entitlement before you give or contribute anything to society.
Ask yourself which system is mostly likely to produce loving people who think of others before themselves.

What happens when people feel entitled today is that they feel more entitled tomorrow. What happens when liberal politicians notice they can buy votes with entitlements today is that they notice they can buy more votes with more entitlements tomorrow.
