The government cannot run a program? They are incompetent.

So incompetent that they will force insurance companies out of business?

which one is it?

If you believe that putting the same government that bankrupted Fannie and Freddie and pulled the entire US housing market down with it in charge of your health care is a good idea, the only health care reform you need is to have your head examined. You might also want to lob a call into a Suicide prevention Hotline.

Any of these clowns suggesting any solutions? Or just yelling and screaming to prove their ignorance!

"Instead of poll-driven "solutions," let's talk about real health-care reform: market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven. As the Cato Institute's Michael Cannon and others have argued, such policies include giving all individuals the same tax benefits received by those who get coverage through their employers; providing Medicare recipients with vouchers that allow them to purchase their own coverage; reforming tort laws to potentially save billions each year in wasteful spending; and changing costly state regulations to allow people to buy insurance across state lines. Rather than another top-down government plan, let's give Americans control over their own health care.

Democrats have never seriously considered such ideas, instead rushing through their own controversial proposals." -- Sarah Palin

I think private industry has a little to do with the current shit economy and not just the government. Plus it was conservative government in charge which any one knows is incompetent.

Medicare has a lower admin cost that private insurance.

You sir are truly an idiot. They will put the private indurance companies out of business not because the are better or more cost efficient but because they will be heavily subsidized by the tax payer.

Health care system A is run for profit.

Health care system B is run on a cost-recovery basis.

Which one would be cheaper for the consumer (assuming that health care is a consumer commodity just for the sake of the argument).
