Last year Oct, there was a bizzare rumor that someone ate the hungry kids who got around in the street (called flower-swallows). I think that this rumor highly reflects the worst situation(the chronical shortage of food & economic crisis)in Northkorea. Past a mid-90s, There was a severe famine and shortage of food in NK and that caused 2~3 million deads. At that time, above rumor spreaded out like now and the criminals who ate the persons got executed in public. Except for Northkorea authorities, Most of Northkoreans have been struggling to find food in all the time even in severe cold.
Especially, Northkorean soldiers are quite problem to the public because they often break into the private houses and steal people's food like corns, sweet potatoes, livestock. Recently, the internal affairs in NK have been opened in the world and the news about the movements for democracy permeates into the inside of Northkorea gradually with various means. Maybe those things made Kim Jong il hide in some place during the demonstration in Libya. I hope that we won't hear this kind of horrifying news from Northkorea anymore. to this, the world should prepare direct aids to those poor people.

Perfect example of left wing government, communism, in full bloom. Starvation. Government tyranny. Oppression.

A free market capitalist system in North Korea would prevent cannibalism.

People in North Korea have dug up dead bodies from the ground to eat, their situation is very dire.

A democracy movement in NK would be akin to re-unification.

Why should Korea have two governments?

Nothing about North Korea is "left wing". It's an Ultra militaristic autocracy. It's a model of conservativism. The Military is on top of the food chain in North Korea and they are hyper-patriotic. People who have nothing..are left to starve.

    See: Governor Jan Brewer.

She let 2 of her citizens die. That's the sort of Model that resembles North Korea.

Perhaps you could find the "hyper-sensitive all fuzzy feeling, all day board"... and go there... and stay.
