Candidates Line Up To Take On Harry Reid!

I am loving this. We have a slate of great candidates lined up to take on Dirty Harry here in Nevada. It is no surprise, since his approval rating in Nevada is in the toilet. Republicans, Democrats and Independants hate the guy. He is two faced and totally put Nevada on the back burner to play the national politics roll. A few big names have announced so far, I know almost all of them and here is my assesment.

Heres a look at the candidates.

State Senator Mark Amodei ~ Senator Amodei is my choice, by far. I have known Mark for years and he is the State Senator representing my district. I have called his office for the past two years begging him to run. He is a top local attorney with one of the most reputable law firms in the State. Senator Amodei is also a veteran of the US Navy. This guy is the real deal. He is also my neighbor

Amodei for Nevada

Sue Lowden ~ Former Chairwoman of the Nevada Republican Party. She is gorgeous, I will give you that. She is a former Miss America contestant. That is all she has going for her. Politically she is dirty and personally there are a lot of simularities between her and Harry Reid.

Danny Tarkanian ~ Son of Basketball Star Jerry Tarkanian. Danny is a Real Estate mogul in Southern Nevada. Personally I don't like the guy I have met him on several occasions and every time I have seen him he is heavily drinking. Also he was unable to win a local election here in Nevada losing to Ross Miller.

Sharon Angle ~ Sharon is a great lady. I have known her for years as well. She is a former state Assemblywoman. The problem is she is not a good campaigner at all and not a very stong presance.

There are also several other little known people running that don't stand a chance. Everyone was waiting for Congressman Heller to announce he would run against Dirty Harry and when he decided not to it opened the door for a lot of people.

Personally I support Senator Amodei. I know a lot of you here hate Harry Reid and want to see him gone. I know your not from Nevada but there still is a lot you guys can do. Campaign contrabutions can come in from anyone in the United States and I encourage you to please help out Senator Amodei financially and support him online on all the blogs. Get his name out there, he is the only candidate that can and will beat Dirty Harry in 2010.

This is going to be an uphill battle being Harry already has over $25,000,000 in his campaign account. most of it he has accumilated over the years and the rest came from backers like Pharmacutical Companies and corrupt individuals.

Thanks for letting us know by posting. Reid is such a simpering idiot! I have had the displeasure of meeting him a few times. He reminds me of the kid that always got stuffed into his own locker in junior high.

Amodei and Lowden both sound good, but I don't know enough about either one to draw a conclusion. Both Republican (meh....but still better than Democrat) and both have held office.

BTW, I don't live in NV but am of course looking to get Reid out of politics.

if all these people run Reid will get re-elected. The opposition vote will get split up too much over too many canidates.

They need to pick ONE person to run against him.

But do any really have a shot! If Barney "Da Fag" Frank, The Big Dick Turbin and Nancy "Mussillini" Pelosi can consistently get reelected so can Reid!

Hope this is true, because Reid is gigantic detriment to this country!

The problem with Reid, and Democrats in general is that in the eighties they really sold out, and stopped representing the poor and the middle class. Even in campaigns, you rarely hear them even mention the word 'poor' these days. So we've got the Republicans, who represent the super-rich economically, those who make a half-million or more, and corporations. Then you have Democrats, that seem to represent rich lawyers, and entertainers, and a few low-level liberals who vote based on social issues.

Those of us who earn less than 80 grand a year really don't have a party, and that's about half the voters. Many of us vote for Democrats anyway, in hopes that they will grow a spine, and many just don't vote at all. ACORN, of course, tries to get those people registered to vote, but republicans and democrats have done such a good job of getting these folks completely discouraged, that even if they do manage to get them to register, it's hard to get them to vote too.

John Corzine, who made millions on Wall Street is from which party?
Jay Rockefeller is from which party?
Which party got overwhelming support from hedge funds in the last election?
Warren Buffet has been an advisor to which presidential candidate?
Hollywood actors, directors, and producers line up to support which party's candidates?
If you answered "Democrat" to all the above you'd be right. The Democratic Party is the party of the super wealthy. They are the party of both the unions and the multi nationals. The GOP is the party of the entrepreneur, the middle class. Get it right.

The two I mentioned are both Republican, and the winner of the primary will be the one on the ticket against Reid. I don't know about the others, but even if there are a couple of 3rd party candidates I still think a strong Republican has a shot.
