Canada Countrywide Internet, TV, Phone Outage As SHAW Goes Down
Tens of thousands of Canadian clients of Shaw are suffering what appears to be a nationwide loss of internet, cable and phone services. According to the outage map below, the service interruption is widespread and has impacted most Canadian metropolitan centers.

Oh nothing to think about , the US just had a pretty good power outage. The rain did it. or wait maybe Russia did it.

Yep. This happened. It was a real loss for businesses depending on Shaw for their Interac machines. I'm not on the Shaw network, so other than not being able to buy a bottle of wine at my local store, didn't much affect me.

Shaw isn't that big of a provider and Rogers has bought out a lot of their accounts. Shaw sold out to Rogers where I live. Most businesses in Canada have Rogers or Bell
