Can This Be What Women Want?

I don't see reproductive rights being a deciding factor in this election, no matter how much the dems want it to be . However I don't think talking reproductive health is particularly good for the GOP either.

Roe is about reproductive choice
The Title Funding is about economics. The reason we started with the title funding is because it was determined that unwanted pregnancies lead to societal ills in many cases. It should be pointed out too that there are plenty of instances where this IS NOT THE CASE as well. For a cost of $1 per citizen per year, we can prevent thousands of these unwanted pregnancies. Scrubbing it while raising the defense spending is silly. Especially when we spend nearly half of every dollar spent on defense worldwide.

I simply don't see title funding being cut, I know it's been purposed ... But I don't see it going beyond paper.

Reproductive rights (what ever that is suppose to mean) isn't a issue in this election. You have the damn right to reproduce...good grief

But it IS something the Left-Democrats wants to try and keep using to distract from high unemployment, the lagging economy, high gas prices etc etc under Obama.

Where do liberals try to stop women from choosing to have babies?
LifeSiteNews Mobile | Hustler pornographer admires Obama family, disdains Palin for not having abortion
In fact, wasn't your complaint about welfare that the government was paying women to have babies and encouraging the wrong kind of behavior?
Nobody should have children they can't support. Even Democrat special interest groups.

It's astoundingly easy to not get pregnant.

And yet, 50% of all pregnancies in America are unplanned.

Both of my kids were unplanned, yet I didn't kill them.

Reproductive rights aren't an issue. Paying for it is. A woman has a right to birth control and abortions the same way she has a right to a steak dinner and a boob job. There's no right to have the public buy her a fillet or the silicone implant.

Personally, I would like to think women are more than ovaries. They can be involved with the economy and they too, are looking for jobs. No president has the absolute determination of birth control or abortions. We have a Congress who makes the laws.

Women are as involved in what is best for this country and they too, can see what has happened in the last 3 1/2 years. Pretty much nothing. We need a leader who can get Congress working together, leads by example and unites this nation. Presently we have a president who tries to divide and conquer for his own personal agenda. That isn't in the best interests of this country.

Ryan voted repeatedly to raise the debt ceiling under Bush with no muss or fuss.
When Obama wanted to raise the debt ceiling, we had nothing but contentious debate.

Do you recall the call to action after 9/11?

Yes...and...

I guess this stupid shit beats addressing Barry Kardashian's $5,000,000,000,000 new debt, no growth, first US credit downgrade & record unemployment.

This is true; the governor is the ball on the roulette wheel; you never know where he will land. I am in the camp that doesn't want the wheel to spin.

Um .... K?

... Yet I didn't abort them.

Um ... k?

Yeah ... I don't see your point. Dave said preventing pregnancy is easy, I pointed out that apparently 50% of people find it not all that easy, and then you started talking about how you didn't abort your children.

Oh no it's as easy for the 50% that have unplanned pregnancies. They simply don't care. It's not worth the effort. They have to go to a doctor or clinic, then they have to get the pill from a pharmacist. Then they have to remember to take the damn thing. That's hard work and they shouldn't have to work that hard. Condoms are worse, they have to stop right before fucking and physically put it on. That's real difficult.

IUD, implant, whatever it is, takes effort. To a people who believe themselves to lack the initiative of a plot of grass they can take their chances and when they lose get a free abortion. Or, free STD treatment.

Wow, you need to get out more.

How do you go through life believing half of Americans are worthless POS?

So you think Senator Obama was wrong when he said raising the debt ceiling was a failure of leadership?

President Obama sure does think Senator Obama was wrong.

I'm not aware of free abortions being offered. The STD treatment is done but it is in no way free for the State to fund them. As any clinician will tell you, preventative care is much less expensive and much more effective than acute care. Why conservatives cannot see this paradigm is something I think historians will ponder for generations--that it makes great economic sense to spend a little now instead of spending a lot later on.

How do you know they don't find it easy? I expect many people are just being selfish and not thinking.

Why should I have to pay for anyone else's failure to plan and think?

I know a LOT of Americans. Saying they are worthless POS is generous.
