Can the Arab/Muslim World Coexist with Israel?

I'll be happy to discuss your concerns about Jews moving from one Israeli city or town to another but first you must come to grips with the difficulty Israel faces trying to craft a durable peace with people who operate like this:

Can the Arab/Muslim World Coexist with Israel?

The plight of those who insult Islam - and the very existence of Israel is clearly considered an insult - reveals much about the difficulty Israel faces in trying to find a peaceful solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
In 1989 Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa or death sentence against Salman Rushdie - once a Muslim but now an atheist - for having the audacity to write what he believes to be the truth about his former religion and its oppressive culture. Fittingly it was Khomeini, not Rushdie, who died in 1989.
As recently as 2005 Khomeini's successor, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reaffirmed the death sentence claiming only the issuer may rescind it.
How convenient.
Many Muslims, perhaps even most, reject the fatwa and Rushdie is still alive but Iran's Revolutionary Guards have declared that the death sentence on him is still valid and, despite their having promised to take no action against Rushdie - a promise made to reestablish diplomatic relations with Britain, he still receives a "sort of Valentine's card" from Iran each year on February 14th letting him know the country has not forgotten the vow to kill him.
The Islamists still have all the justification they need to carry out their heinous mission.

Perhaps if Israel was a neighbor and not an occupier.

Another lame deflector waddles in. Perhaps you would like to comment on the subject matter of this thread?

Direct answer to the question.

Anyways you guys can have the rest of the discussion to yourselves. I'm going to bed now. Peace

Not a word. You managed to deflect and divert but never once did you address the original post. Pathetic, but that is how all cowards roll, Princess.

Direct answer to the question.

The Arab/Muslim World considers the very existence of Israel to be an "occupation," as do you.
The only way to satisfy the Arab/Muslim (and your) complaint is for Israel to commit suicide and failing that, the fatwa continues forever.
According to you peaceful coexistence a non-starter.

Of course this homo post back when I'm offline. I addressed it perfectly. Ask if both sides are willing. There are many already coexisting. In Israel

Why are you making it just about israel?

The better question to ask is....can muslims coexist with ANYONE/anything not muslim?

The only way they can co-exist is if every muslim over the age of 9 or 10 was to suddenly drop dead.

Jews can't co exist they want a Jewish state. End of discussion. They both can't expect a minority from each side can

They are coexisting in Israel under Israeli Jewish control. Wouldn't be the same if the shoe was on the other foot. But thanks for confirming that Arabs in Israel have equal rights as they should in a democracy.

Not a deflection. The Jews have a crazy ideology...

:lol::lol::lol:
Yeah, and if .1% of Israel's Jews subscribe to some "crazy ideology" that's 5000 crazies, none of whom are issuing fatwas or chopping off anyone's head.
Now if .1% of Arab/Muslims subscribe to their crazy ideology you have 350,000 Jihadists, any one of which would eagerly chop off the head of any infidel or offending sister.
The latter is the point of this thread. The former is your attempt to deflect.
Can you yet see the silliness of your lame arguments?

It doesn't matter why, Princess. Isreal exists and all your demands as well as those of your Arab/Muslim comrades that she cease to exist are simply wishful thinking.
If there is to be peaceful coexistence between those people and the opportunity for a better life for the "Palestinians," people like you are going to have to come to grips with reality as it is, not as you wish it to be.

Exactly!
In Israel where Jews and a liberal democracy dominate there is a large degree of peaceful coexistence.
Now compare that with the oppression that dominates in the Arab/Muslim World.
Can Israel's neighbors put down their Jihad swords long enough to help find a peaceful solution?

That is the wider question I am posing but this is the Israel - Palestine board and the subject must pertain to that.

The only way they can co-exist is if every muslim over the age of 9 or 10 was to suddenly drop dead.

That's not going to happen and I know you are capable of a more thoughtful response.
