can someone steal an election in the USA?

Well there's a reason dead people vote now and then in various elections. Throw in illegally registered voters and whatnot too, but it's kinda hard IMO to ever prove enough hanky-panky took place to actually influence an election's outcome.

I also don't think either major party has the market cornered on such activity. It's a two-way street.

The best reason in the world for universal suffrage and not putting all the blocks in place to exclude this group, exclude that group, you can't vote but you can bullshit is that the fraud issue goes the hell away.

The biggest problem in the country now is that in the age of computers, and ATM cards, since when, the eighties, the federal fucking government, as well as state and local, are such freaking morons, that they can neither keep track of people(voters), nor keep illegal aliens and "terrorists" out; And why, because a few KazinskiTed clones are psychos that don't want a "national ID card" mainly because if they have an ID the mythological christain devil will know where they live!

As for the felons bullshit, if they are out on the street then the no voting thing should not apply. Save that for the in jail types, period! And hell, we could do it like other places, PURPLE FINGERS!

Election Law @ Moritz - Major Pending Cases: Sorted by Case Name

Is it possible or is it something that just can not happened in this day and age?

Did Obama steal this last election?

Easily. The Democratic primary was stolen and the media chose the Republican candidate. Where you been?

But DO tell .. WHAT is current event about your question?

The Republican candidate was chosen by the primary process. Since Republicans were enganged in a "who is a real conservative" pissing contest, there was no unity within the party to offer a select few individuals. The substantial influnece of conservative talk radio could have played a part in selecting a candidate, but few if any talkers would back an individual candidate. None of them liked McCain, but none of them would back anyone else. There was some implied support in reading between the lines of which candidate the talker was friendlier to or had on more often. Why wouldn't they back a candidate? If the person they backed got knocked out in a primary, then they would be viewed as backing a loser.......and their egos wouldn't allow it. They generated a lot of heat and light, but no energy. Because of the fractured party, number of candidates and lack of support by the RNC and talk radio, McCain survived the process. The MSM had little to do with it.

There is an election today and voter fraud has been talked about for years now. How can we be sure that there is none happening as we speak?

CO 2005 Two ex-ACORN employees were convicted in Denver of perjury for submitting false voter registrations.
2004 An ACORN employee admitted to forging signatures and registering three of her friends to vote 40 times.
CT 2008 The New York Post reported that ACORN submitted a voter registration card for a 7-year-old Bridgeport girl. Another 8,000 cards from the same city will be scrutinized for possible fraud.
FL 2009 In September, 11 ACORN workers were accused of forging voter registration applications in Miami-Dade County during the last election. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the state attorney’s office scoured hundreds of suspicious applications provided by ACORN and found 197 of 260 contained personal ID information that did not match any living person.
2008 Election officials in Brevard County have given prosecutors more than 23 suspect registrations from ACORN. The state's Division of Elections is also investigating complaints in Orange and Broward Counties.
2004 A Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokesman said ACORN was “singled out” among suspected voter registration groups for a 2004 wage initiative because it was “the common thread” in the agency’s fraud investigations.

The answer to the OP's question is yes otherwise they would not have asked it.

ROFL. You people are absolutely insane.

You just can't accept that your extreme right-wing views don't represent the mainstream, so you desperately try to reach for any kind of reason to explain away lost elections.

Tell me, nut-jobs, how many false VOTES has ACORN been accused of filing? Not Registrations, VOTES.

LOL.
