In my thread I'm asking if Republicans believe corporations should pay no taxes. See, this thread is bs because we don't want to tax corporations more unless we find out they aren't paying their fair share. We found out GE isn't paying taxes. So Republican idiots, please tell me you don't think ge should pay more than zero.

GE 1st Quarter 2015 Earnings Webcast

It required less than FIVE MINUTES for me to find the GE investor relations publication, and see page 12, TAX $6 BILLION DOLLARS... in ONE QUARTER. Just one quarter of 2015, they paid $6 Billion dollars in taxes.

We found out GE isn't paying taxes.......... Would you care to change your statement sir?

And let's even say that GE did pay your ADDITIONAL $10 Billion in tax out of profits. Is that a good thing in your world? What do you think companies do with profits?

They expand the business, which creates jobs? They renovate existing business, which protects existing jobs? They pay the share holders, which is who? 401Ks, Pensions..... you know.... US?? So let's take money away so fewer jobs are created, more jobs are lost, and people have less money to retire with.... AND THIS IS GOOD IN YOUR WORLD??? HUH?!?

Oh and by the way..... you lower profitability of investing in the US, and then complain companies like GE are shipping jobs overseas???? HOW IS THIS A PLUS??!!!??!

Again, the company has clearly been aggressive in reducing its tax burden through various tax credits and deductions created by the federal government (one example is clean energy incentives). It also has been creative in moving a good deal of its profits offshore. But Warren overreached with her claim that GE pays “zero” in taxes. The company does pay payroll taxes and local and state taxes. And GE says it also pays federal income taxes. How much? We don’t know, and GE isn’t saying. Nor is it required to.

Post up those GE tax returns. Quarterly statements do not show taxes paid for the year.
