Can Republicans win with a message of "Let Him Die"?

All you had to do was go look. Ron Paul's answer was to let the church take care of him. Like churches have doctors and nurses. This was simply a "right wing Christian's way of saying: Let him die".

Ron Paul did not say that even in your vid!
How many religion based non-profit hospitals, stand alones, or 'chains' exist in this country?

Voters are concerned mainly with the economy and jobs. While Obama toured the country in support of a real plan - his jobs bill - and pushed congressional Republicans to pass it (which of course, they didn't), the Republican presidential candidates were busy sucking up to the rabid right-wing base with talk of abortion, gays, corporations and "personal responsibility". Obama's relatively good poll numbers are a good indication that the GOP's own words are pushing voters away from them.

You think Obama's poll numbers are "good"?

Obama may prevail because the GOP candidates are so awful, but that's hardly an endorsement of his Jobs Plan, which is just warmed over stimulus.

Obama has to get manufacturing back. That should be his goal. If he isn't doing that, the rest of this conversation is sort of pointless.

Over a hundred Republican congressmen who voted against the stimulus took hundreds of millions of dollars of stimulus money and created thousands of jobs they took credit for. Everything from installing broadband Internet in business communities (Scott Brown) to building railway systems (Mitch McConnell among others).

All this information is available on the Internet for anyone who spends 20 minutes going out and looking for it. It can become really interesting if you go state by state. My favorite are the "job fairs" paid for by stimulus where Republican politicians show up in droves, take credit for the Job's Fair and bash Obama. It's a hoot.

Go to Google, do a search on "Republicans who took stimulus money". It's a good place to start.

How many? Enough to accept tens of millions of Americans who need help? Come on. Give us some statistics.

And where did Paul saying, "It was his risk" fit in?

Hopefully you aren't saying to compete with the country with the most birth defects in the world, we need to become like them.

Obama was elected and you are employed so character defects don't seem to be an issue.

kiss my ass. That could be taken as "kiss yourself".

Awww is the troll who posted the op in an attempt to irritate others getting irritated? Suck it. After all as an Obama supporter you should be used to it.

You know how to use google, use it! Off hand I would say there are plenty.

"It was his risk" to choose NOT to purchase health insurance. According to Wolfe, 'coma man' made plenty of money to buy his own health insurance.

Regardless, Paul did not say 'Let him die.'

Oh you mean the Democrats favorite Republican? lol

Not sure why anyone would Humor such a Hate filled, Brainwashed fool as Rdean in anything bordering on real debate anyways. It's like trying to talk to a computer programmed to spew out predetermined Far left, Class Warfare, and Racial Divide Talking points.

In a close race for most Pathetic, and Dishonest poster on this board with the Likes of TM. :)

In other words, all you have is name calling and whining. Good. At least you're consistent.

Yes, Because I have never wasted countless hours in the past refuting your BS with Links, and Facts, just to have you go off on another scripted Far left, it's all the white mans fault, Tirade? Please.

Which Republican on the stage running for the nomination said this.....?:eusa_hand:

Ron Paul

Not true.the moderator asked a question and some in the audience answered Yeah...

Wolf Blitzer asked Ron Paul a hypothetical about a 26 year old who had decided against buying health insurance and was now in a coma and needed a lifesaving operation.
Dr Paul said he had made his decision and now had to live with it. Or in this case, die for it. The audience applauded wildly

Blitzer then said you mean "Let him die?" and members of the audience screamed YEA!

Thanks for the neg dean. Now I know I got under your skin. :)

I'd pay you back but I know you can't help yourself so it would be a waste of the 10 I get.

Carry on twit

I link to my every position. You don't. You just call names. You have no point to anything. There is nothing of value in any of your posts. Worse, they are not even funny. That's the sin. If you want to be a moron, fine. But at least be one with humor. You're not even funny enough to laugh at. I try to train my eyes to look past your posts because I know there is nothing of value. But sometimes, I read one by mistake. That makes me angry that I wasted my time reading nothing of value.

I occasionally post troll topics. But as many or more are serious topics with links in the op. You avoid my posts because you don't debate from a position of common sense and logic. You only post based on emotion and the urge to irritate those you disagree with. I troll occasionally. You never stop.

I've even had threads that praised Obama for this or that and others condemning the gop. You only post trash. Always trash. The only thing to debate in your threads is your stupidity or irrational hate. You are a classic uninformed reactionary robot who doesn't self reflect. Ever.

Your a worthless poster good for an occasional tease, nothing more.

You don't have to say the exact words to get the meaning across.

“A healthy, 30-year-old young man has a good job, makes a good living, but decides: You know what? I'm not going to spend 200 or 300 dollars a month for health insurance, because I'm healthy; I don't need it,” Blitzer said. “But you know, something terrible happens; all of a sudden, he needs it. Who's going to pay for it, if he goes into a coma, for example? Who pays for that?

“In a society that you accept welfarism and socialism, he expects the government to take care of him,” Paul replied. Blitzer asked what Paul would prefer to having government deal with the sick man.

“What he should do is whatever he wants to do, and assume responsibility for himself,” Paul said. ”My advice to him would have a major medical policy, but not before —"

“But he doesn't have that,” Blitzer said. “He doesn't have it and he's — and he needs — he needs intensive care for six months. Who pays?”

“That's what freedom is all about: taking your own risks.,” Paul said, repeating the standard libertarian view as some in the audience cheered.

And what comes from "risk"? Reward or failure. In this case, "Let him die".

Clearly the audience could be heard. They even interrupted Paul so he had to wait until they finished their cheers of "let him die".

DID HE CORRECT THEM? DID HE TELL THEM THEY WERE WRONG?

Even McCain corrected the Republicans when they called Obama an Arab and a terrorist.

So Blitzer said 'Let him die."? Good, at least that clears up that no presidential contender said it.

Audience members shouted YEA! are idiots, and Paul responded with 'No'.

The hypothetical man was also 30 years old.

Dean is a liar. He is so full of shit he thinks he knows everything about every member of the gop.

You left out Blitzer asking the 'Let him die' question.

“That's what freedom is all about: taking your own risks.,” Paul said, repeating the standard libertarian view as some in the audience cheered.

Yes he did, go view your original vid again!
Regardless, there was not a presidential candidate that uttered those words, now was there?
