Can Iran survive with Russia assisting?

Russia's providing Iran with all of the nuclear fuel, equipment and technology, so in the end, if Russia cut all of that off in exchange for a few Eastern European countries, would Iran survive?

It'd probably survive, but would it develop nuclear weapons?

Possibly, but not as quickly as they appear to be doing right now.
