By banning those plastic straws, it INCREASES the amount of plastic used for the containers that used to have straws in them.

The main plastic pollution problem is from just FIVE nations that contributes an estimate of 55% of the total plastic waste into the ocean. Banning straws in California isn't going to make much of a difference.

Duh....who cant figure out this is a perfect example of pols playing the suckers of the world....token environment measures that are laughable to everybody except the suckers.

Many of the sucker-type just cant think on the margin...like almost all of the progressives....as if banning straws here matter for dick. ( while everyone and their brother parade out of the local Cosco with 4 billion cases of bottled water ). We see the same thing with the warped thinking on global warming... this fucked-up obsession with climate action in the United States while China opens 2 coal plants/ month. Most peoples minds are wired to recognize utter absurdities. Not the progressive.... let's all be very thankful they are in the vast minority.
