Illegal Immigrants Overrun Arizona's Emergency Rooms
Daniel Sayani
February 2011

The problem is succinctly described by the following authorities on the subject:

“What is unseen is their [illegal aliens’] free medical care that has degraded and closed some of America’s finest emergency medical facilities, and caused hospital bankruptcies: 84 California hospitals are closing their doors,” Madeleine Peiner Cosman, Ph.D., Esq., “Illegal Aliens and American Medicine,” Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, Spring 2005.

"We're running an H.M.O. for illegal immigrants and if we keep it up, we're going to bankrupt the county,” Los Angeles County supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, New York Times, May 21, 2003.

For those who say illegal immigration does not have a negative affect on our economy is a lot of BS. Medical care along is bankrupting states budgets.

Q: What is the impact of illegal immigration on wages in the United States?

Well, for an individual, it depends on where you are, what kind of work you do and whether you have skills that illegal immigrants don't. But overall, illegal immigrants don't have a big impact on U.S. wage rates. The most respected recent studies show that most Americans would notice little difference in their paychecks if illegal immigrants suddenly disappeared from the United States. That's because most Americans don't directly compete with illegal immigrants for jobs.

SAN GABRIEL, Calif. — Authorities have closed three upscale townhouses operating as a maternity center for Chinese mothers paying thousands of dollars to give birth in the United States so the children would automatically gain citizenship.

Yes they do but so do most foreign mothers who want to be a step closer to legal residence via the child. But - who is to blame? Why does this country give them automatic EVERYTHING??? Welfare, free medical, free education, free housing, etc.???? Who would NOT want to come here anyway that they can???? This abuse of our system will not stop until that time that the USA learns to say NO!!!!

"It is difficult to imagine a more irrational and self-defeating legal system than one which makes unauthorized entry into this country a criminal offense and simultaneously provides perhaps the greatest possible inducement to illegal entry," Graglia wrote of birthright citizenship.

The United States is one of the few remaining countries to grant citizenship to all children born on its soil. The United Kingdom, Ireland, India and Australia, among others, have since revised their birthright laws, no longer allowing every child born on their soil to get citizenship.

It's okay. Sure, they paid thousands of dollars. But that's cheaper than a green card, right?

U.S. law automatically entitles children born on U.S. soil to citizenship, and it is not illegal for pregnant women to visit the U.S. to give birth.

BIRTH CERTIFICATE FRAUD.

Gucci babies make to order.

It is not illegal for pregnant women to visit the US. It is illegal to defraud the people of the US by deliberately having the birth on US soil in order to obtain a US citizenship which Mexicans and others are doing. Those actions are considered espionage.

There is no difference from Mexicans doing the above action and Muslims building terrorist cells in the US. Both seek to promote their own foreign governments agendas by weakening the US population's loyalties to the country. It is an act of espionage.

Actually, what is bankrupting the states is tax cuts for corporations and the uber rich. Need an example? Look at Walker.

You really are too stupid for words. No, Medicare alone (which is what I think you were trying to type) is not bankrupting the states.

Same story from the New York times.

Apparently, this kind of service is widely offered in the orient.

For the last year, the debate over birthright citizenship has raged across the country, with some political leaders calling for an end to the 14th Amendment, which gives automatic citizenship to any baby born in the United States. Much of the debate has focused on immigrants entering illegally from poor countries in Latin America. But in this case the women were not only relatively wealthy, but also here legally on tourist visas. Most of them, officials say, have already returned to China with their American babies.

Immigration experts say it is impossible to know precisely how widespread “maternity tourism” is. Businesses in China, Mexico and South Korea advertise packages that arrange for doctors, insurance and postpartum care. And the Marmara, a Turkish-owned hotel on the Upper East Side in New York City, has advertised monthlong “baby stays” that come with a stroller.

And we ask how and why this country is doomed????
