California governor blames Texas for California’s policies that caused the homeless crisis.

composite_15665985573849.jpg

You have got to be kidding? No sane person could possibly make such an ignorant claim.

California’s authoritarian governor, Gavin Newsom, blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis. Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce, Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas.

Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists (who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished.)

No wonder I can never go home to the Flacky State.

@ California Governor Blames TEXAS For The Booming Homeless Crisis

Sounds like something JoeyB Dolezal would come up with. Perhaps they’re related?

Why are there so many homeless people from Texas?
Well, putting aside for a moment that Gavin Newsom said it, which makes it automatically suspect,
it could be that California has the most liberal generous welfare policies in the nation while Texas does not.

If you were homeless and you knew you could score twice as much money in California as in Texas, where would you go?

Except there is a problem with that. Cali is much much more expensive to live in.

Not when you dont work.

that is why California needs to pioneer equal protection of the law for adults who are merely unemployed in our at-will employment States.

Cali is over regulated, over priced and over taxed but is still an amazing place to live and one of the most beautiful places in the world.
When I was there in the sixties and seventies you were right it was nice. When I was there two years ago it was absolutely terrible.
Trash everywhere. Prices too high. Roads washed out. Roads falling apart. Pavement gone from large sections of roadways. Saw open sewage running in one area. Even the oleanders that used to be between the interstate lanes were gone. Will not be going back.

Yes the national parks and most state parks are still mostly nice but way too many people. Saw areas in San Francisco that looked like they were recovering from a natural disaster. Have heard that they are way over taxed. Tend to believe that since they were attempting to tax texts.
Where exactly did you go? Cause I could pretty much guarantee that there was a pair a dice a few minutes drive away
We had been in Washington and Oregon. Spent a couple weeks down around Redding. We always try and tour a couple hundred miles out from where we stay. Next we stopped around San Francisco. Then over to Lake Tahoe for two weeks. My memories of that area may be off as I remember the Califoria side to be better taken care of and the Arizona side less commercial in the late sixties.
Next major stop was about a week and a half around Oakhurst. From there to Nice. Stayed there about three weeks until the smoke got too bad. Heard that not long after we left there was a fire near the lake.
Last major stop was Bakersfield. Stayed there almost a month or so. We did not see that much but loved the RV park that was in an orange grove.
Sorry failed to see much in the way of dice except in Lake Tahoe. Don't usual go into casinos. Extremely fast way to lose money for no return value.
Damn that’s some serious travels. Tahoe is one of my favorite places on earth. If that didn’t do it for ya then I don’t know what to say. Got no clue why you stayed in Bakersfield... that’s cow country where all the crackheads hang. You should of hit the coast. Taken the pacific coast highway and seen all the beach towns.
Was up and down the coast highway in the late sixties early seventies. Big Sur, Carmel that whole area.
As far as Bakersfield was close enough that we could see some of L.A. and Orange County. happened to like the RV park.
Wife and I have traveled around the country for five and a half years.
You like Tahoe you should see Yellowstone, the Teton valley in Wyoming, Flathead lake area or glacier park area in Montana.
Last road trip I did was from Minnesota back to Cali, went through Colorado and spent time camping in Utah and Yosemite. Utah was unbelievable. Yellowstone and Wyoming are next on my list.

Big sur and Carmel haven’t changed much since the 70s except for the cost of living is insane. Still beautiful place to live though

Jesus Christ... Democrats cannot accept responsibility for ANYTHING.

How about the rampant homelessness in Seattle or Portland? Is that Texas' fault too?

Guess I should have seen those areas then. Napa valley was ok. But (the only way I can put it) it seemed a bit like a theme park.

Colorado has some very nice areas but seems like a large number of figured out the nice areas. Wife liked Canyonland but like me was mostly unimpressed with Utah. Love the area between Denver and Grand Junction but when you come into Utah it is kind of a let down.

Most of Texas is a shithole. California should build a border wall. And demand Texas pay for it.

You must have never been to Texas seeing most of Texas urban areas are Democrat and Texas is a Minority-Majority State...

Also Austin is a beautiful city...

The cities are great. A wasteland is what the rest of Texas, "most," is.

Incorrect again!

Texas has beautiful rolling his and even it deserts are beautiful and calming...

So you know nothing about the State and you are just bia because of your hate for the GOP...

Dude, you can learn to love wasteland if you want. Others spot it and identify it immediately.

I see no claims of sanity forthcoming from the idiotic and completely insane democratic leadership of California.

Considering those wastelands are some of the major petroleum producing areas and one of the major crop producing areas of the U.S. I think they work out fine.

On the other hand since you don't understand where it is even located I can see why you don't think much of it.

So you have never been here because most of Texas is not a wasteland...

Also you are saying the minorities of this State are living in a shithole, so why are you like Trump?

Yeah bro adding some shitty machinery to the landscape really adds some steampunk vibes to the wasteland

Texas looks a lot like Mexico. I guess Trump is right on something.
