California Dreamin' - of Jobs in Texas

Didnt Texas want to secede and then asked for money from the government? If so, doesn't that make them the ultimate hypocrites?

I dono, how about you do an amount of reserach and post a fucking link you idiot.

I am so sorry. I have to aplogize and feel so silly now pointing out the fact that those fucking idiots hates the goverment so much they want to get out of the united states and then asked for money because they wanted help.

Sorry.

Fucking dumb ass. I already knew this and already did the research and wanted to see if someone else even heard of it. Ass wipe.

LOL, they would be if they removed themselves from the country. Until then they all get taxed for it so I see no fucking problem.

It has nothing to do with the topic.

But blithering away at the non topical is all Chris Matthews' Parrots have learned to do.

I wasn't aware that Texas Representatives had presented the US Congress with a plan to succeed.

When did this happen?

Or are you full of shit?

What Texas will be getting is all the losers who couldn't make it in California.

Governor Says Texans May Want to Secede From Union But Probably Won't - FoxNews.com

THis is what the article said:

Later, answering news reporters' questions, Perry suggested Texans might at some point get so fed up they would want to secede from the union, though he said he sees no reason why Texas should do that

:eusa_eh:

Where do you get from this that the state of Texas wants to secede, or that Perry's "suggestion" should be taken seriously by anyone but FNC?

RETARD ALERT. Hey dumb ass, who do you think they will be hiring once they move there?

Who will they be hiring in Texas? Obviously, people from California. Who wants to hire a bunch of dumb Texans? Have you read the Republican Party State Platform? If that is any indication of the people in Texas, business owners welcome, with open arms, people from California, the land of research, technology and the educated.

Too fucking stupid for words.

You're right. Which is why they are bringing in people from California.

from the article-

snip-

Andy Puzder, the CEO of Hardee's Restaurants, was one of many witnesses to bemoan California's hostile regulatory climate. He said it takes six months to two years to secure permits to build a new Carl's Jr. restaurant in the Golden State, versus the six weeks it takes in Texas. California is also one of only three states that demands overtime pay after an eight-hour day, rather than after a 40-hour week. Such rules wreak havoc on flexible work schedules based on actual need. If there's a line out the door at a Carl's Jr. while employees are seen resting, it's because they aren't allowed to help: Break time is mandatory.

"You can't build in California, you can't manage in California and you have to pay a big tax," Mr. Puzder told the legislators. "In Texas, it's the opposite—which is why we're building 300 new stores there this year."

Other states are even snatching away parts of California's entertainment industry. The Milken Institute, based in Santa Monica, Calif., reports that 36,000 entertainment jobs have left the state since 1997. The new film "Battle: Los Angeles," which is set in California, was filmed in Louisiana.
"The red tape is ridiculous," says Mark Tolley, the managing partner of B. Knightly Homes, which relocated to Austin from Long Beach in 2005. "Regulators see developers as wearing a black hat and the environmental laws have run amok."

and-

"I don't see this as a partisan issue," Mr. Newsom told reporters

:clap2:

well said and it usually isn't, until you vote in a legislature that sees business as evil, cash cows and generates an unfriendly environment, which will be and is the only sensible take away Newsom will glean, then you have Boeing getting sued and Newsom going to Texas....

And could YOU blame those people for wanting to LEAVE KaleeFornya?

The Great BLUE Exodus continues...

Why would anyone want to run a business in California? The Socialist Nazi Storm Troopers have been anything but friendly to business out there. Their Takers are now beginning to outnumber their Producers. And that's going to be devastating for California. The Takers aren't going away. Only the Producers are. The Takers are still gonna be there demanding their freebies. But who's gonna provide the revenue to satisfy the Takers now? The Socialists/Progressives really fucked up out there. Their Anti-Business philosophy really was very short-sighted and disastrous. They are Third World now. It's very sad.

There are a few factors here. Workers in CA are so pampered by the State it makes me sick. CA is the "sue" capitol of the world. The slightest thing a manager might do, warrants a law suit. Companies have paid out billions in the last 10years to lazy workers who don't like authority and claim "job harassment" and the likes. Then of course with ICE clamping down on companies with illegal aliens they find it more viable to find another state in which to go. Minimum wage in CA is one of the highest in the country which adds to companies not wanting to pay high wages for unskilled labor and would prefer to get better results from workers who might have a bit of savvy.
