Looks like Los Angeles best look into its own fellow California city to boycott. Just this week Costa Mesa declares itself a Rule of Law city - and that those who are not here legally are NOT welcome...
___

COSTA MESA – The City Council made it clear Tuesday night that people who are in the country illegally are not welcome in their city.

Council members voted to pass a resolution declaring Costa Mesa a "Rule of Law City" at the behest of Mayor Allan Mansoor, who has long been known as a vocal opponent of illegal immigration.

"I have a lot of concerns with cities calling themselves sanctuary cities," Mansoor said before the vote. "It's important we state that we do not support illegal immigration."

Mansoor's proposal was met with comments from five public speakers, all of whom criticized it. Some said the declaration would paint the city in a bad light and polarize the community. Others called the resolution a political move by Mansoor in his bid for the state Assembly.

The council voted 4-0 in favor of the declaration. Council member Katrina Foley was absent.

well, crap,,now we'll have to  and see if the californicators boycott them..

Well I'll be darned, there is still a spark of sanity left in California.

Congrats to the council for holding up the rule of law that Washington D.C. will not do, for some reasons only known to them.

In my opinion, illegals are NOT WELCOME anywhere in this country. The days of the "American Patsy" are hopefully coming to an end. Imagine, those people getting pissed off because they cannot break the laws of the Untied States of America. What's the world coming to when we as Americans dare to enforce our own laws for our countries citizens and their safety?

And in related news, latest polling indicates Americans favor by a 2 to 1 margin a state's right to pass immigration laws to protect their borders from illegal immigrants.

A very large majority - both Democrat and Republican, polled also indicated border security was not strict enough.

A strong majority of those polled also indicated that the current immigration laws should be enforced - which is exactly what the Arizona law is calling for.

84% of those polled indicated people should be required to show documents proving their immigration status when government officials ask it of them - again supporting the Arizona law.

83% polled indicated it was "shocking" that Obama Attorney General Eric Holder was commenting against Arizona's immigration law and then admitting he had not even read it yet.

I would bet that just about anyone caught say, after they illegally sneaking into a movie, a play,or a sports event and just about anything, would be arrested 100 times faster than some criminal illegal that planned to enter this country improperly.

What is the damn problem with detaining and arresting those CRIMINALS! What's the problem with ID checks? Too bad, if the laws were enforced by this lame government leadership in Washington D.C. for the last few presidents we wouldn't be in this situation. Sure there is a lot of pissed off illegals................they GOT CAUGHT! Sheeeesh, tough 'CHIT'. It's our country, NOT YOURS, until you become a citizen. Your the damn visitors here, so follow the rules.

Okay, I am done.......for now

The problem is that this issue is being utilized as a voting bloc. It is the ultimate in race politics that the Dems have played for decades. With millions of illegals beholden to a particular party to protect htem, they will vote accordingly.

For liberal Democrats, it is a case of politics trumping law - which Obama-Peloso-Reid have proven to do quite willingly...
