Right behind you!
Watch your mouth, California.

The nation's most populous state is asking its 38 million residents to stop using four-letter words for an entire week beginning Monday.

On a voice vote, the Assembly passed a resolution Thursday declaring the first week of March each year as "Cuss-Free Week" and inviting, but not requiring, Californians to comply.

The resolution honors McKay Hatch, who started a no-cussing club at his South Pasadena junior high school nearly three years ago.

Well, I don't cuss. But as a matter of principle, I would seriously consider it just because they said not to.

California is going bankrupt and you are all excited about a non-binding resolution encouraging people not to cuss? Seriously, all this is going to do is give all the citizens more reason to cuss when they are broke and raped by their politicians.

Socialists are just so stupid. Their state is in ruins and they're passing stupid resolutions like this? Why do Californians keep on voting for these inept Socialist creeps? How sad.

Yeah kinda like KY working on passing optional bible class in school.

Neither the reds nor the blues have any balls.

No, not for adults. We don't use some nice idea (suggestion) as an excuse to do the opposite...like some pouty little child.

If people are "sensitive" to words to no real effect (there's no real effect if you "swear" in Generic sentence without degrading someone), then people don't need to be further demonizing these frivolous man-made words but actually DE-SENSITIZING people to them. imho, of course.

Of course, you are going to do exactly what the government suggests. Even though they have no right to suggest it to you and they are paid to do something completely different. Nevermind that they are destroying the your future and your childrends future. Just listen to them blindly. That's what adults would do.

Making a word taboo is like making Gay taboo in that it doesn't really serve Human Civilization but only serves in holding it back.
