Cain taking a break

So he is taking time off going around the nation meeting people in order to go around the nation and meet people.

How is this going to be much different?

He didn't quit to go on a book tour, nimrod. He also didn't write a book about his road to the White House.

I can't stop laughing.
Who said he quit? The CSM? The site that you constantly discredit and are now trumpeting?

Laughing indeed
I've never tried to discredit CSM. In fact, they are in my opinion a very credible news source.

I stand corrected then. But most of the left on here flame me when I use a link with them in it.

On topic, I've yet to hear him say he quit so I don't get the hubub. Quite the contrary actually. I've seen him on TV every day in the last week on his book tour. Major exposure. Not a bad move imo.

Oh, a book about himself. Peachy.

I don't want to elect another Obama, even if they've switched the brand from (D) to (R).

Cain actually has achievements and a personal history which merits reflection.

A personal history which merits reflection? So you liked his personal statement? Nevermind that he hasn't taken the requisite course for admission: Gov't Experience (Any) 101.

And any deluded sap that tells me gov't experience isn't necessary for the highest level of gov't service doesn't understand the marketplace, either. At least MBA grads, not known for their humility, will do 6 months as a pizza delivery person or other low-end job to get the necessary working experience.

You mean like Obama and his book? The one no one made such silly accusations about?

Constantly discredit? Proof, please. It's one of my favorite sites. I'm on their mailing list.

Did I suggest that I favor Cain for the oval office? No, I did not. I think he is better qualified to help us deal with these trying economic times than Obama is.

But no, I did not say that he was my preferred candidate. I said he has lived a life which merits reflection.

I hope Mr. Cain's health is okay. Going on the campaign trail is stressful, especially when a hypothetical question based on a lie is proffered and it is answered as though the question were based on the truth. I think he should just forget about the virulent blackhead and proceed like a professional, unless he had a medical episode and is acting on doctor's orders. If so, I hope he gets well soon.

I didn't 'mock' anything.

This is just latent butthurt from them because there are a bunch of nuts on their side who say racist shit and get called on it.

They are either guilty themselves or they saw how bad it made their side look and are now trying to return the favor.

Doesn't matter. That's how this site works.

Anyone who doesn't like Obama no matter the reason is often labeled a racist. It goes to reason that many will say the same about those against Cain, founded or not.

And as much as I'd like to catch up on getting insulted since I've been gone a few days I can't. I got my first remodel bid in nearly a month to go meet a client about. Lots of limestone and granite to sell and install if I'm lucky. Even if it doesn't go for awhile a job on the books is better than what I've had for the last month.

Latter all

"This is Herman Cain! My Journey to the White House"

First, taking two week in October is him quiting? :cuckoo:
Second, his book his is about his campaign run to the whitehouse. By the definition of that its campaigning! It's also raises campaign funds!
Third, to the people that say he is getting tired. LOL because promoting a book (or anything) is relaxing. Are you people demented? Wait I think truthseeker was the one to bring that up!

Perry had a book, to which he stated Social Security was a Ponzi Scheme.
Romney has a book. Heck even Obama had a book about his snorting cocaine and hating capitalism!

Why is it bad in people's eyes that Cain has a book! Maybe it might be good every candidate to have a book, so you know where they are coming from.

And if you think he is doing a major tour for his book, like the foolish leftist who started this thread, of that he is breaking you are wishful thinking!

Herman Cain basking in the attention - St. Petersburg Times
He'll switch gears with the Oct. 4 release of his new book, This is Herman Cain!

Cain will be traveling for book-related events for at least five days ahead of the Oct. 11 debate in New Hampshire, according to a preliminary schedule posted on the website for his book.

He is starting to raise cash also!
Carmichael said it's the latest in good fundraising news for the campaign, which she said has been raising "several hundred thousand a day" since Saturday.

Record traffic crashed the campaign's website several times, and the media requests have been flowing in steadily. On Monday alone, Cain was on NBC's Today show and three different Fox News programs, along with at least five radio shows. Later this week, he'll add CNN's The Situation Room and NBC's Tonight Show to the list.

Why?

Because his campaign was is and will be nothing more than an Alan Keyes style publicity stunt.

He's probably pissing his pants in anxiety over the fact that he's actually winning anything, for fear he might wake up one day and find himself a legitimate contender.

LOL, only a leftist who is afraid of Cain would say that! Keyes never won an debates, never won a straw poll, never had the media glamor ove him, never won a poll (in fact Keyes never got over 1%).

But you should be afraid, because after Cain becomes President, your leftist socialist ideology will take a major blow!

Thank you, Dread the Fred.

It is likely that he has a contractual obligation to his publishers to undertake a tour. That's pretty standard stuff. I see no big deal, but I look forward to the spin from the left.
