Cain says he would have substantial lead over Obama

As Ann Romney said to Peggy Noonan, David Brooks... and others of the chattering class supposedly in the republican camp... and now Herman Cain...

(CBS News) Amid ongoing criticism over the management of her husband's presidential campaign, Ann Romney on Thursday responded to the critics in an interview on Radio Iowa: "Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring," she said.

"This is hard and, you know, it's an important thing that we're doing right now and it's an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt's qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country," the would-be First Lady said.

Herman Cain - Mitt Romney - Paul Ryan, three peas in the same pod ... same outcome.

Godwinned on the 3rd phrase of your thread.. typical

hysterical, isn't it?

juveniles who have problems living with societal rules get that way.

until they want to tell someone else what moral decisions to make... then the phonies are all about rules.

cain was laughed out of his own primary... it's delusional to think he'd have gotten more than single digits nationally.

They way Romney is stepping in it, though, you'd almost wonder if Cain could have done better.:lol::lol::lol:

Give Cain credit, at least he's a cool rich guy.

If it was Obama in the same situations magnification by the media would be miniscule, and if the media magnified the Obama errors, then we'd have the same situation but in reverse.

The fawning media got taken to school by the Latino Univision reporters who dared to ask him tough questions.
He actually said his biggest failure was failing to get immigration reform passed (what about the economy?), but that it was the republicans who held that up.

Truth is, he never in the period he had both houses attempted an immigration bill. Actually he did nothing those first two years beyond symbolic actions like passing an executive order to "close Gtmo before the year was out." The whole of the healthcare act was written by the dems in the house, not by the administration, so he had a lot of time to present an immigration bill and the two houses he owned to pass it.

But when he was asked by a Univision reporter why the United States was not better prepared, with better security at its embassies on the Sept. 11 anniversary, Obama responded by repeating the admonitions about not tolerating violence, and then continued to discuss the incident in the context of the controversial Mohammed video upsetting the middleasterns, never mind that his own press secretary had already finally said it was self evidently (as if it's always been clear) an act of planned terrorism.

So, typically, and as usual he failed to answer the question with a long meaningless excuse with pretty words meant to obfuscate.
