At the end of the day, when you vote for President, the only thing you can really rely upon is the man/woman themselves. Presidents have very little power other than that to set the agenda.

The President is the most powerful person on the planet... And that's part of the problem. Obama and Bush are almost like mini dictators in that the constitution in no way concerns them.

I would advise you to brush up on your definition of what a dictator actually is. Bush, Obama, Reagan, etc... bear little resemblence to what the definition is.

The problem, as I see it, is that where our Constitution was silent, honest brokers and men of good will filled the void with sound reason. Those brokers and men of good reason have been replaced by those with loyalties to their political party be it Pelosi, Boehner, Reid or McConnell.
