    Apparently the British press is way ahead of Bush and his actual speech, and this is either most amazing scoop in the history of media, or slobby reporting.

    You know, if I were working on the Bush campaign and wanted to help the NYT or the BBC look like fools, I might "leak" the text of a speech that the candidate was allegedly going to give the next day. Then, after they went to press with it, GW would give a speech which had no resemblance whatever to the one that was printed.

    That little stinker would only work once per election campaign, but boy would it be fun!!!
