When Bush left office in the midst of the worst recession since the 1930s unemployment was over 7%. Since that time UE has grown, workforce has participation has shrunk, household wealth has shrunk, household income has shrunk, the number of people on gov't assistance has risen, and the number of jobs has shrunk.
What does it say about a leader's policies, ones that he had a free hand to implement for the first 24 months, that his best results are worse than the worst results of his predecessor?
