You on the left complained for 7 years that Bush had an illegal war in Iraq, even though he got the authority for said war from Congress.

Obama does not have Congressional authority for war in Libya and I don't hear a peep from the left. I wonder why that is?

This might help to explain it...stylized version

Chameleon/ Democrat...(family Chamaeleonidae are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of lizards. They are distinguished by their parrot-like zygodactylous feet, their very long, highly modified, and rapidly extrudable tongues, the (suspected) possession by many of a prehensile tail, crests or horns on their distinctively (yet oddly) shaped heads, and the ability of some (ok..most) to change color (and distinctly held opinions).

If you cannot see the difference between attacking a country with the world condemning you for it, and being part of an alliance and assisting your allies, those of us on the left cannot help you.

The world did not condemn us. That is the talking points of the left. Only France and Belgium in Europe condemned the attack and France did it because THEY made deals with Iraq to lift sanctions and ain oil contracts. That leaves Russia and China and both of them had deals with Saddam also and were working to lift sanctions.

But back to the point. NONE of those Countries determine how our Government works. Our Constitution and our Congress and Courts do that. Currently, right or wrong we have a law that STATES US military force can not be used except with the permission of Congress after 60 days. Obama never ask for that Permission and has stated he will continue his war illegally even if Congress tells him no.

And you dumb asses don't care.

France does not tell us what we will or will not do, nor do they have the power to compel our President or Congress to act in a manner of their choosing. Nor does Russia or China.

Obama is in violation of the War Powers Act, a US law that has not been challenged in Court. A law the Left CREATED.

So lets get this straight.... No one on the left cares what Obama does because he is a Democrat, RIGHT?

Obama violates US law and no one on the left cares. But they keep claiming Bush lied to get us into Iraq even though three separate hears were held and all 3 concluded he did no such thing.

So basically the hypocrites on the left don't give a rats ass what a Democrat does. I already knew this but I do so love when you reaffirm it every time it is brought up.

The part of the world that condemned us sucks.

A multinational force composed largely of United States and United Kingdom troops supported by smaller contingents from Australia, Denmark, Poland and other nations. All of the Arab states and a number of members of the NATO alliance did not publicly support the invasion of Iraq, while Eastern European states were willing to offer their public support !:

Here is another peep.

Russia finally agrees: Gadhafi has to go - World news - Mideast/N. Africa - msnbc.com

DEAUVILLE, France — Russia abandoned one-time ally Moammar Gadhafi and offered Friday to mediate a deal for the Libyan leader to leave the country he has ruled for more than 40 years.
The striking proposal by a leading critic of the NATO bombing campaign reflects growing international frustration with the Libyan crisis and a desire by the Kremlin for influence in the rapidly changing Arab landscape.
With Gadhafi increasingly isolated and NATO jets intensifying their attacks, Russia may also be eyeing Libya's oil and gas and preparing for the prospect that the lucrative Libyan market will fall into full rebel control.
Early on Saturday, two NATO air strikes shook the Libyan capital, Tripoli. It was not immediately clear what was targeted.
"He should leave," Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said of Gadhafi. "I proposed our mediation services to my partners. Everyone thinks that would be useful."

It's funny when idiot leftists claim we had no international support for the Iraq invasion.

TROOPS IN IRAQ
POSTED BY BLACKFIVE • [NOVEMBER 14, 2003]
Did you know that there are more than 30 other countries with troops in Iraq? The Associated Press gives the numbers:

Albania — 71 non-combat troops in northern Iraq.
Azerbaijan — 150 troops for law enforcement and protection of religious and historic monuments in Iraq.
Bulgaria — 485 troops patrolling Karbala, south of Baghdad. An additional 289 are to be sent.
Central America and the Caribbean:

Dominican Republic (300 troops), El Salvador (360), Honduras (360) and Nicaragua (120) are assisting a Spanish-led brigade in south-central Iraq.
Czech Republic — 296 troops and three civilians running a field hospital in Basra, and a small detachment of military police.
Denmark — 406 troops, including light infantry, medics and military police. An additional 90 soldiers are being sent.
Georgia — 69 troops, including 34 special forces soldiers, 15 engineers and 20 medics.
Estonia — 55 troops.
Hungary — 300 transportation troops.
Italy — 3,000 troops.
Japan — Delays a decision Thursday on sending troops to Iraq, citing security concerns after a surge in anti-coalition violence.
Kazakhstan — 27 troops.
Latvia — 106 troops.
Lithuania — 90 troops.
Macedonia — 28 troops.
Moldova — Dozens of de-mining specialists and medics.
Netherlands — 1,106 troops, including 650 marines, three Chinook transport helicopters, a logistics team, a field hospital, a commando contingent, military police and a unit of 230 military engineers.
New Zealand — 61 army engineers for reconstruction work in southern Iraq.
Norway — 156 troops, including engineers and mine clearers.
Philippines — 177 troops.
Poland — 2,400 troops, command of one of three military sectors in Iraq.
Portugal — 120 police officers.
Romania — 800 troops, including 405 infantry, 149 de-mining specialists and 100 military police, along with a 56-member special intelligence detachment.
Slovakia — 82 military engineers.
South Korea — 675 non-combat troops with more forces on the way. But Seoul will cap its force at 3,000 rebuffing Washington's request for additional soldiers.
Spain — 1,300 troops, mostly assigned to police duties in south-central Iraq.
Thailand — 400 troops assigned to humanitarian operations.
Ukraine — 1,640 troops.
United Kingdom — 7,400 troops, with an additional 1,200 planned.
The United States is in discussions with more than a dozen other countries about providing troops.

Update 11-15-03 7:30AM CST: It seems the Associated Press left out two very important countries that have troops in Iraq.

1. Australia -- 850 troops in the theater with 250 in Iraq. Thanks to Sean for the information.

2. Mongolia -- 171 troops as part of the Polish led Multinational Division south of Baghdad. Thanks to Jeffrey Boulier of Electronic Chickens for the information.

Blackfive commenet: Hey, if you listen to the Democrats tell the story, we are all alone. While we need more help, it isn't as nearly as unilateral as you would think.

If you cannot see the fact that world opinion is irrelevant when it comes to waging war, then the right cannot help you. What does matter is congressional approval, which Bush had from a Democrat controlled one, like twice.

It isn't a global popularity contest.

That's why we put the NATO stickers on the sides of the planes :eusa_shhh:

About 36 countries supported the war in Iraq.

They also complained when Bush at 4% Unemployment and Record High Stock Markets. It's a proven fact that the majority of Obama-supporters have very low IQs and are very ignorant. Independent studies really have found this to be the case. These people are still actually jumping for joy boasting about "Hope & Change" while we suffer 9.1% Unemployment,Record Poverty, and now Skyrocketing Food & Gas Prices. It's all about the Dumbing-Down of America. And no one does that better than the Liberal-controlled MSM. They don't care about the Libyan War because DA BOOOOOOOSH aint in there. Their Hopey Changey One is bombing & killing now so everything is just fine. It is pretty dumb but it is what it is.

Must not be listening. Putting Libya, war and left wing into Google gets you quite a list.

Bush had the support of over 30 allies in the Iraq war, that's about 25 more then Obama has in Libya.
