.....Dogbert, please show me in the Bible where it says to kill unbelievers or anyone who leaves the faith? There are isolated incidents in the Old Testament before Christ came where God, being the Alpha and Omega, saw what would happen if he left certain cultures to pollute the land with infant sacrifices, etc., but He doesn't tell us to kill non-Christians ANYWHERE in fact, Christ said to forgive those who persecute you.

I realize Mohammed said many things and then did the opposite, but he was trying to convince Christians and Jews that he was our prophet and neither groups bought it, 600 to 900 were beheaded for that. You won't find Jesus telling us to do anything like that. Christ died and rose again because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe would have everlasting life.

When people rejected Jesus, He walked away.

Nobody can help it when other people do things in the name of their religion, but when the holy books prescribe it, and is more political than religious...it's just not the same thing.

in a nutshell, the Quran has plenty of violent verses but Islam is about following Mohammed, you won't find how to pray correctly in the Quran, or the 5 pillars of Islam, that's because it's all in the Hadith's and the Sira, which have the MOST violent, but not all of the violent instructions.

In this day and age of terrorism, I think any item of clothing that totally prevents a person from being instantly identified should be banned in the general public. How can you be sure a man is not hiding under the burqa and the reason for doing so is a terrorist attack. Sorry. Call it what you will. I think it should be banned.
