ROTFLMFAO! You live in a fucking drugged out fantasy world, where lies are the truth and the truth is a lie. Let me know in '08 how the impeachment went.

The only thing Bush is guilty of is pandering to the anti-American left and not smoking enough ragheads.

The groundwork is being laid for a resolution of inquiry by which the House Judiciary Committee will begin a formal investigation into whether or not sufficient grounds exist to impeach Dubbyuh.

As for a "drugged out fantasy world", you should be spending more time examining your own tenuous grip on reality. Time will tell who is right in this matter.

If, however, nothing is done to check the rampant corruption of this administration, elections in '08 will be a moot point...the Republic will be beyond salvation. So, be careful what you wish for, you may just get it.

What groundwork? You got a link for this fantasy of an investigation? As a D.C. resident and an avid reader of everything congressional from "the Record" i've seen or heard nothing on this, plus Repubs would never let a political witchhunt like this take place.

Given their obsession with Bill Clinton's sex-life and his lying about consensual sex in the Oval Office, the silence of the Republican leadership with regards to the lies Dubbyuh spread in order to launch a war of aggression in Iraq, is nothing short of deafening.

The Republican leadership was willing to launch a political witch-hunt called "The Whitewater Investigation" which accomplished nothing but pouring $40 million in tax-payer dollars down a rat-hole. In this case, however, it would be seeking justice.

And here's the link you were requested...

It will never happen Bully, wishful thinking on your behalf!

If it does not happen, it will only be because the Republican leadership in Congress is more interested in securing their strangle-hold on power than in serving the interests of this nation. Their failure to act will be the death-knell of the Republic.

Check out John Conyers' website. He's the one doing the grunt work to get an investigation off the ground.

Anti-American....? That's your answer to anything which questions the motives or methods of the Bush administration, or doesn't fit your own narrow definition of reality. But, as I mentioned earlier, your grasp on reality is tenuous at best.

You do realize that Conyers is considered a far left joke, right? Yeah with him at the helm anything is possible :wank: Anyway it will soon be '08 and still there will only be two sitting presidents ever impeached, Bubba and I cannot now remember the other. Bubba though deserved it.

Oh yeah, anti-american is not how I classify everything, just leftists who wish to turn us into some sort of country resembling Scandinavian socialists, or subverters of the constitution such as yourself.

Yes...yes...yes...Can't you be a little more original in assinine insults? If you actually gave a shit about the Constitution, you'd be as disgusted with the Bushies as I and many others are. But you'd rather hide behind the insults than actually take a principled stand.

You're just a party apparatchik wannabe. Had you lived in Stalinist Russia, you would have turned your own mother in as an enemy of the state just to curry favor with the local party boss. Toadies like you are a dime a dozen, and just wind up a greasy spot on the road as the political machine rolls over you...too stupid to move...too ignorant to fight. You're pathetic.

Lying about consensual sex in the oval office is NOT the moral equivalent of lying to lead a nation into war, ya little wanker.

Perjury is a felony, no matter what the lie is about. It was totally unacceptable conduct for the head law-enforcement officer of the nation and was reasonable grounds to seek his removal from office. If a felony conviction can be enough to disqualify someone from being a private in the army, it sure as hell ought to be a disqualifier from holding the office of commander-in-chief. That is unless you think the standard should be higher for a private.

The consensual sex is factual, the lying to lead a nation into war is yet nothing more than concocted fantasy of all you anti Bush, anti war, anti reuplicans. Like I suggested earlier, hows about a wager on this impeachment?

The truth will tell, and right now, it's telling us that the Bush administration "fixed the intelligence and facts around the policy" of using military force to remove Saddam Hussein from power, and this was months before Dubbyuh brought the issue up before Congress.

And, there was the <a href=http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1632566,00.html>stepped up bombing campaign</a> in Iraq which started in May of 2002 in order to goad Iraq into a war. this was, again, months before Bush brought the matter before Congress and the American people.

The <a href=http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1593607,00.html>Downing Street Memo</a> states:

<blockquote> Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the <b>intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy</b>.(<i>emphasis mine</i>)</blockquote>

This clearly indicates that, rather than using intel to shape policy, the intel was being cherry-picked and shaped to suit the needs of the policy of war with Iraq.

I'm not taking any bets with the Republican leadership which now controls Congress. They have failed in their oversight duties before with this administration, and they'll likely do so again. I don't really hold out much hope for impeachment unless the American people wake up to what is really happening in Washington and the White House. If Congress fails in its duties again, we can all kiss the Republic good-bye.

I am far more annoyed at the Senate, giving their power to GW without reserve then attempting to point responsibility for it all to him, attempting to make people believe that he "lied" when they have access to intel sources outside of his but took no advantage.

It is so easy nowadays for them to blame others when most don't even realize that only the Senate has the power to bring us to war according to the constitution, but nobody will allow the buck to stop where the actual power lies when their goal is to blame one specific person...

If you notice, here in CO we actually voted for a party we normally wouldn't to replace Sen. Campbell, people actually placed the blame where it should lie.

Sen. Campbell, before his retirement explained that the Senate has intel sources outside of those the President provided, yet almost none took advantage of them. The whole idea that the President could take us there without Senate approval is simply ignoring the actuality of the Constitution, the neglect for their own positions as a balance of power is something that only those who want Bush to be blamed as solely responsible attempt to brush over.

Yes it is, and furthermore there is nothing to compare it to since no lying has ever been proven. Billy lied when he knew he was caught and went as far as to kill innocent civilians to deflect attention from his impeachment, his infamous impeachment.

I KNEW you wouldn't get a response to this from pulit. It was far too blunt.
