Bug Out Bag people

Not sure what category this falls in to so I'm slapping it here. The mods can move it where they see fit.

Who here has a bug out bag? I'm torn. I live very near a nuclear power plant. So...if asteroids or the BIG ONE hits....we are toast. Literally. So why bother? On the other hand..what if it's martial law or some other nasty thing like chemical warfare on the west coast instead of the east coast? There is no "bugging out". Two roads in and out of this town. No way would I even attempt to travel either one. I plan to stay put ri 'chere. If ri 'chere is still here. So with that in mind...I have a semi kinda sorta bug out bag thingy. I figure it's safer to be prepared "just in case".

So who here has a bug out bag? What's in it?

I keep a bag with clothes, jackets, gloves, hats, money, credit cards, and car keys in the shed in case the house starts on fire some winter night when we're in bed and have to run outside in our altogether.
