We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on frivelous social programs to coddle those that don't have a "fair shot" in school. That money can be put towards the schools.

Evil-No I am not a school teacher but I am a member of our local school board, so I would think that I would know a thing or two about schoolfunding. A bitch about the money, always not enough? Sorry I think that our FUTURE, our CHILDREN should be our #1 priority.

Classrooms are overpacked, teachers overworked, underpaided, and underappreciated. Schools all over the country are cutting music and art programs, because they just don't have the money. They are cutting a teacher here, and a teacher there, and distributing the kids throughout the already overpacked classrooms.

divorces in a year
----------------------- = divorce rate
marriages in a year




Of course, you know what the other half of marriages end in, right? DEATH, not much better than divorce.

I'm not even going to bother reading this thread. My take on Brown V Board of Ed. It was way overdue, then was way overdone.

It doesn't help the inner city kid in 2004 that there are no white or Asian kids in his school. Why? Because of forced diversity. Guess what. Want real diversity? Go for vouchers. Encourage specialization among public schools.

Fine arts, performing arts, college prep, tech prep, etc.
