A Bronx man was viciously assaulted and robbed on a subway train Sunday by four men who he says taunted him for being white.

Police confirmed they are investigating the assault and robbery of Jason Fordell, 29, but have not labeled it a hate crime.

Police never call it a "hate crime" when the victim is white and the perp is black, Hispanic, etc.

I'm part of a medieval recreation group. Until about 5 years ago we had a combat practice in Central Park every Tuesday night during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. One night a young female fighter was returning from practice, wearing her maille shirt under a sweatshirt when she was approached by two individuals brandishing a knife. They demanded her wallet or they would stab her. She refused. After a brief arguement the assailant tried to stab her and bent the end of his knife on her maille shirt, which surprised the hell out of the stabber. At that point she reached under the seat and pulled out the 32" rattan sword she'd been using at practice and the two would-be robbers ran away in fright. Afterwards, she decided that she should have used the "You call that a knife? That's not a knife" line from Croccodile Dundee movie.
