British raid on terror group finds rifles and pistols...don't the terrorists know they banned guns?

This is like the idiotic anti climate change comment "it was cold today." Boom, climate change debunked.

Hey did you hear that 2 states had done voter fraud investigations. They found literally 10s of ppl out of millions illegally registered. Serious problem. Rampant voter fraud confirmed.

Welfare fraud. I heard once someone was collecting in two states! Abolish the whole thing! Not on my watch are those selfish worthless wretches going to take my hard earned money!

I can go on and on.

Meanwhile real crooks are buying their way out of the types of penalties that petty criminals get put away for.

Maybe you do support this, but by your own logic, hard drugs should be legalized. Because the ban sure as heck ain't workin!

yeah...you are new....no one is making that argument....we are making the argument that taking guns away from normal, law abiding people doesn't lower the crime rate......what lowers the crime rate is locking up criminals....for violent felons, 30 years needs to be the minumum...

Violent crime on the rise in every corner of the country, figures suggest

But analysis of the figures force by force, showed the full extent of the problem, with only one constabulary, Nottinghamshire, recording a reduction in violent offences.

The vast majority of police forces actually witnessed double digit rises in violent crime, with Northumbria posting a 95 per cent increase year on year.

Of the other forces, Durham Police recorded a 73 per cent rise; West Yorkshire was up 48 per cent; Avon and Somerset 45 per cent; Dorset 39 per cent and Warwickshire 37 per cent.

Elsewhere Humberside, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Wiltshire and Dyfed Powys all saw violence rise by more than a quarter year on year.

Here you go...more facts, to show how wrong you are....

US murders concentrated in 5 percent of counties

“It is stunning how concentrated murders are in the U.S.,” John Lott, president of the CPRC said to Fox News. “And we show that even within these counties, with all these high rates, murders are very concentrated.”

“These high [rate] counties have very large areas where there are no murders.”

In 2014, the U.S. murder rate was 4.4 per 100,000 people, according to the data of the report. If the deadliest 5 percent of the counties were removed, the U.S. murder rate would be 2.56 per 100,000 people, the report showed.

More than half of last year’s murders occurred in only 2 percent of the nation’s counties.

Looking at the historical data, the CPRC said that murders were even more geographically concentrated in decades past. On average, 73 percent of counties in any given year had zero murders from 1977 to 2000.

Take for example Los Angeles County, which had 526 murders in 2014 -- the most of any other county in the U.S. But parts of L.A. County, including Beverly Hills, Hawthorne and Van Nuys, had virtually no murders that year.

Indianapolis, Indiana had 135 murders but only four occurred outside of the 465 highway loop that encircles the downtown area.

Expand / Contract
A map showing the largest geographical concentrations of murder incidents across the country. (CPRC )

Washington, D.C. has large swaths without a single recorded murder. The study found that murders were overwhelmingly limited to the eastern half of Washington, D.C.

One of the most interesting findings in the report is that areas with the highest gun ownership rates have low murder rates.

Washington, D.C. has large swaths without a single recorded murder. The study found that murders were overwhelmingly limited to the eastern half of Washington, D.C.

One of the most interesting findings in the report is that areas with the highest gun ownership rates have low murder rates.
Extreme cherry picking = meaningless

No.....as more people began carrying guns, our violence levels have gone down....after they banned guns for normal people in Britain...their violence levels went up.....

Please try to keep up.
Still way more gun violence in US than in UK. And UK is WWWAAAAYYYYY safer than the US as well. You even have less chance of dying while in the army than you do walking down the street in the US.

And wrong on the U.S. as well....our violence is contained in tiny areas of our democrat controlled cities.......everywhere else has better crime rates than Britain...
So the US only looks good when extreme cherry picking is used. Got it.

Here you go...more facts, to show how wrong you are....
