Yeah Ray......but that argument isn't effective anymore as it was 10 years ago.....by a long shot. When you have the head of the IPCC and NASA saying the same thing and other climate scientists agreeing with top meteorologists, it resonates with the population. If people weren't seeing such a mixed message, they'd be far more concerned with global warming.......its shaped peoples perceptions for several years now. Throw on top of it, the governmental agencies screwing around with the data and the whole, "Not a real scientist......" strategy falls on deaf ears in 2014......the people are exceedingly skeptical.


Ray.....you recently posted up a vid on global warming. It got about 5 hits. 10-12 years ago on this forum, it would be widely popular. Judith Curry is right......the AGW crowd needs to rethink its message. They are now looked at as extremists the same way most view the Tea Party.

The only time politically motivated rallies matter is when you have the kids of parents dying like in the late 60's and early 70's.....otherwise, they are about as effective as a boycott.

I live a stones throw from NYC......that rally drew 10's of thousands or folks who don't know climate change from a bowling ball......... because it was the thing to do that day so they joined in.......thats how NYC works.

The only important thing is......what happens AFTER the rallies!!
