Obama pardons turkeys going to Disneyland

"I always believed as a speechwriter that if you could persuade the president to commit himself to certain words, he would feel himself committed to the ideas that underlay those words. And the big shock to me has been that although the president said the words, he just did not absorb the ideas. And that is the root of, maybe, everything."
David Frum - Speechwriter for George W. Bush

If I was President I would never pardon the Turkey, instead I would grab it, right in front of the world press corp, and bite its head off and then yell out "who is next? Iran? China? Venezuela? Syria?"

Then I would spit the head out into the crowd, my bloody Presidential teeth glaring in the November twilight like some sort of turkey killing Presidential vampire and say with gravity and solemness, "come and get it."
