No ..The streets belong to EVERYONE. Permits to march and assemble on public property and thoroughfares are required by every municipality.

Why? Once the police refuse to or cannot do their job, we as citizens have the right to self determination and self defense. All bets are off.
Now, if they want to stop in front of a private home and peacefully demonstrate without disturbing the residents or in any way preventing them from enjoying their property, that is the right of the protesters to do that as long as they have the proper permits.
It cuts both ways. No one's rights are absolute.

No.. Not as long as they want to. There are limits to everything.
Yes the public can use the public avenues. Within limitations. Each government at the behest of the citizens may decide what those limits are.
For example, there are communities across the nation where outsiders are stopped by the police and asked their business. If they have no business being there, they are first ASKED to leave. If they refuse, they are ESCORTED out. If they further refuse to obey the lawful order, they are arrested.
Now you will scream back with some nonsense about the streets of these places being "public". The municipality maintains the streets So they are not open to the public at large. The roads are for town residents ONLY.
That probably pisses you off. Tough. People pay their taxes to have certain protections from the scum of society.
So you see, you are wasting your time screeching about the public being able to do whatever you think is ok.
BTW. The success of banks is essential to the economic well being of the nation. Another tough shit on you.
