Romney and his campaign are right to distance themselves as far from this as possible. If they appear to use it in anyway, it doesn't reflect well on them.
but they will use it on obama if their evidence to back it up. all depends what trump has.

You see "Crack" cocaine has alway been around except it was called "Free-base" (See Richard Prior) It was always a rich mans high because a gram of coke (80.00 -120.00) cooks down into a few smokable rocks. But thanks to the Puesdo-conned hero who allowed the Contra-Terrorist to import huge amounts of South American Cocaine into the US, there was a glut of coke on the streets. So the dealers of such shit decided on a new marketing campaign and that's where cheap "Crack" came from. That was after 1986 or so.

It's a silly Rocktober suprise. Make sure you call him gay too.

you know, if you guys can allow me to sort of change the subject here. I apologize for doing so.

I have always thought that in a country founded on capitalism it would only make sense that some lower privileged people would flock to the black market of cocaine dealing. If we preach that the bottom dollar rules, profits at all costs, no regulation, no govt oversight, then why do we act so surprised when Americas youth turn to drug dealing to make ends meet.


this has always been a subject on my mind. Its sort of obvious. in a Nation so obsessed with money, drug dealing is a legit source for some to compete with the more fortunate people in this nation. In other words, its the only boot straps some have to pull up and find upward mobility.

true dat. I watched a documentary about how the black market AKA "free Market" is go huge that if the DEA were to really cut down on drugs our economy would collapse overnight. Sort of makes you think, how important are these so called "job creators" anyways.

With the DEA sucking down nearly 14 billion a year, something is just off about all of this. If we spend 14 Billion on protecting America from drugs then why is cocaine so easy to obtain? fishy business our Govt is up to on this topic. Almost like the bails of cash that Bush and CO "lost" in Iraq, close to 400 Billion, a number that is far smaller than Obama's green energy failures that the Right loves to beat on.

They'd be smart to distance themselves from all of that. Romney appears to be positioned about as well as he could have hoped for going into this election. When all the bickering and back and forth childish name calling in the second debate appeared to turn off independent/undecided voters, trying to hint that Obama is a drug dealer or a foreigner can't help, at all. The only people that will find is appealing are the far right loons who's votes Romney already has.

To a lot of people, well represented on this board i might add, this election (and any other) is more about winning and winning by as large a margin as possible than it is about actually doing something. Winning an election should be a tiny fraction of the victory. What should be the real victory is how you follow up winning the election by governing in a way that makes the lives of Americans better in any way possible.

Nixon started the DEA, I think its first budget was a in the millions, I could be wrong however, now its 14 billion and we have not made a dent into the cocaine push from Mexico. If you dig deeper, the CIA has admitted that they basically taught and provided the selling distribution point to Rick Ross while showing him how to make crack cocaine in south central LA. Its a very interesting story if you want to peer into the fucked up world of out govt.

Welfare, its small potatoes compared to the drug trade and the billion we waste on it.

really agree. what more important winnign is hoping something get done. many people get so caught up in winning or losing but what most important is what happens after the victory.

it making sure that country does well long after the election is over.
