Chris Matthews went on about Big Russ' kid yet again today on ABC.

gawd, that man makes em wonder if he has some sort of genetic disease.

and he keeps mentioning his Irish heritage...he's an embarrassment to that part of me.

He was a nice guy. I didn't agree with him politically, but he played fairly, fair when doing his interviews/show.

A U.S. president didn't die, but his funeral reminded me of a State funeral.

Sounds like he was a good father and family man. It's a sad passing, but I'm afraid MSNBC/NBC is milking his passing for all they can get, as their ratings are the lowest of the major news networks.

I think the Brokaws and Matthews of this world really are tonge in cheek in giving Russert Kudos. These guys were not politically in the same ballpark with Russert.
