So we finally know the whole story. After collecting salacious "kompromat", the Russians tried to blackmail candidate Trump into becoming their tool. They were shocked that Trump was unfazed by their threats to release their embarrassing info and turned to a new approach. The Russian government agreed to help Trump win the election, and if he did win would then provide hundreds of millions of dollars in liquid cash and to eliminate hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Trump Organization debt through undisclosed measures. All Donald Trump had to do was to make sure that after becoming President he would make sure that the United States would be "friendly" to Russia's interests.

Mueller is charging Donald Trump and several people close to him, including his two sons and his son-in-law, with multiple violations of Title 18 Section 115 of the US Code: treason, misprision of treason, seditious conspiracy, and advocating to overthrow the government.

According to Mueller's office the Russian government has funneled over $200 million into Trump's pockets through a series of false business deals that served as fronts for the money, and through a sophisticated hacking scheme that siphons money out of small local banks around the world and into the control of the Russian government. As of yet there is no indication that Russian intelligence has been able to "eliminate" any debt owed by the Trump Organization, which it would presumably do through additional hacking. However the special prosecutor's report suggests that the Kremlin may have never intended to fulfill such a promise and likely would not be able to actually deliver.

Out of kindness you should have included the liberal suicide hotline number.

Real talk - This thread is dedicated to the bipartisan absurdities of the "Russian collusion" story.

In the left corner, many liberals seem to believe that this whole story is going to be as simple as finding cocaine in someone's pocket. As if Putin literally called Trump and said "Hey listen Donnie, I want you to work with me and become my little play thing." There are plenty of theories that have been put forth. Putin blackmailed Trump, Putin bribed Trump and others by giving them a slice of a Russian oil company, Putin bribed Trump with a variety of business "deals", Putin bribed Trump by forgiving loans (or giving favorable conditions for them) for the Trump Org. There are lots of liberals who think there is something neat and tidy just waiting to be uncovered, and when it happens there will be a slam dunk that forces everybody to agree with them. They just can't make up their minds as to which one it is, and they freely switch between them depending on how a new piece of information can be alleged to support or deny one or the other.

In the right corner, conservatives are desperately trying to reclassify a rose as a type of small tree. They keep chattering about "collusion" and how the law defines "collusion" and whether "collusion" is illegal, so on and so on. It doesn't matter if Trump tried to coordinate with Russian individuals associated with the Russian government. It only matters if Trump actually and successfully colluded with Putin. And then, it doesn't matter anymore, because collusion isn't illegal, only treason.

It's all stupidity on both sides and it shows that 50% of the American people care more about partisan food fights than the sovereignty of our nation, or the politics they use as a vehicle for their cat fights.

Discuss....

Think your take on the right is off.....correct position is there was no collusion ergo you cant and wont find it

So, you simply do not believe that Donald Trump Jr met with Natalia Veselnitskya in order to obtain assistance from the Russian government?

False comparison/equivalence. A criminal investigation without an alleged crime is a witch hunt. But keep on hoping...

Willful ignorance that certainly would be followed by the "massaging" of Junior's message about how that meeting was all about "adopted children" ;-)
